Today CMM staff participated in the #pied4aporpoise challenge! We challenged National Aquarium, Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, Birch Aquarium, and Sea World San Diego. Did you know that there are only 30 vaquitas left in the world? They are the most critically endangered mammal. To learn more about these animals visit www.vaquitacpr.org.

Join us on Sunday, February 7 for the Milt Diggins lecture at 3 pm. Diggins is the author of a new book entitled "Stealing Freedom along the Mason-Dixon Line: Thomas McCreary the Notorious Slave Catcher from Maryland." Diggins provides a close-up view of the toxic effects the debate over slavery had on the country in years leading up to the Civil War. FREE program held in partnership with the Calvert County Historical Society.
