We're proud to announce that our work has begun today on a £1.35m cutting-edge project for Dundee City Council to replace eight passenger lifts in four 16-floor multi-storey blocks in Lochee and Dryburgh. The new state-of-the-art anti-vandal-spec passenger lifts from our German manufacturer will improve the reliability of the service for the residents. This contract has enabled us to employ two more local people and at least another two more will be taken on as a result.  Interesting article by the HSE on the dangers involved in dismantling/removal of lifts. All too often it comes down who can remove a lift for the cheapest price and therefore companies not specialists in the lift industry become increasingly involved. Contractors need to understand that to remove a lift safely takes time and planning by skilled and qualified lift engineers.
