To understand why Catholics venerate relics, you can begin with your affection for the mementos of your loved ones. Read Dr. Simone Brosig's article about the veneration of relics prior to your pilgrimage to venerate the arm of St. Francis Xavier this Sunday/Monday. #STFXCANADA

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a real game-changer for children's faith learning. Children learn to love their faith, being drawn intimately into the scripture & the liturgical life of the Church. Curious on how? Workshop: Sat, Jan 13 in Calgary.

At today’s memorial of the passion of John the Baptist, Bishop Emeritus Henry shared a special message for pastoral ministers. Pastoral ministers are naturally surrounded by people who look up to their leadership and faith. However, they have to be careful not to let themselves be the end of the road. Their job is to extend a hand and lead people to Jesus, as St. John the Baptist did. In our humility, we open ourselves to accept the grace of God. “He must increase, but I must decrease.” (John 3:30)
