The lasagna primavera was flavorful and reasonably priced. Nice, relaxed ambience and the staff were welcoming. The live piano music was a nice touch. The salad that came with my meal was just ok, and the bread was fairly standard (and served with cold butter). Still this is a good option when staying nearby. I would eat there again

Nice, quaint little restaurant just a block away from our hotel. Husband and I went for our anniversary dinner. Food was excellent! Great portion sizes (I had to get my left overs to take away) and great taste! Staff were all very friendly! It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend and visit again!

Visited DC for the weekend and chose this quaint location for dinner on my last day (Sunday, 25 Jan 2015). Arrived at 730pm to an almost empty establishment. Was promptly greeted and seated. Details: 2 guests (AA women) Shrimp Scampi entree Chicken Parm entree 2 salads Bread 1 large cup of Lobster Bisque We received a 15% discount since we were staying at the Embassy Suites: Total for meal (without tip) $39.00 The food was amazing. And I mean amazing. I will return. The second best part of the meal outside of the food quality and quantity was the complimentary Amaretto we received to complete dinner.

My family and I decided to eat at this restaurant early on a Saturday evening. Our first hint should have been walking in to a mostly empty restaurant. As you can guess, our experience was not the greatest. First, let's start with the bread. I do not know what other reviewers are referencing, but we did not have great baked breads. We received 6 slices of toasted Italian bread with packaged butter. It was OK. The garlic toast appetizer was on more generic toasted white Italian bread. Not much flavor. The entrees were more disappointing. The chicken Parmesan was mostly breading. Quite literally, there was a thin slice of pounded chicken in between thick breading - easily 2/3 breading and 1/3 chicken. The pasta sauce did not taste like authentic sauce - it was not very good. The rest of my family got the shrimp scampi pasta and the spaghetti with meat sauce. All around it was not good food. If you are looking for a good Italian experience, look elsewhere. I gave a rating of 2 instead of 1 because the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff were very courteous.

Having worked at an Italian Restaurant many years ago in Miami Beach haven't had a nice meal that remind me those years. The portions were accordingly with the prices and enough to satisfy my appetite. Full flavor ragu sauce over pasta made my experience outstanding. Service was at point, sometimes you get a better and friendly ones at small places than big chains. For this reason I will recommend it and as usual, be patient and enjoy your meal

The food was impeccable, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere! The wait time was sorta long, but I'd only take half a star off for that if I could. Overall it was brilliant! The meatballs are to _die_ for! :)

First and foremost, the service was outstanding and on the ball. The food was well-sized and priced accordingly (not too mention delicious). The lack of the fifth star was the wine menu, it was a little short sighted and small. But overall a great local Italian hideaway.
