About a year late for Google to give me an Auto Awesome, but what a great time this party was.

Had a great time coloring this super cool music video for +Glass Lux and its director +Gus Gavino! Check it out!

First impressions of the experimental #ART runtime in #KitKat:

A relatively uninteresting (if seamless) start with screaming performance hikes that seem to multiply with use. Microstuttering in social media applications is nearly non-existent, multitasking and animations between applications is buttery smooth, and battery life seems to be (marginally) improved over Dalvik. App-installs are indeed slightly larger, but just barely so - a difference of maybe 300mbs among 130+ apps. Best of all, nothing I've used so far has broken, slowed, or otherwise faltered.

I'll probably continue using ART for the time being on my #Nexus5, at least until it makes something I need unusable. Overall, I'm incredibly excited and hopeful for the future of #android, and can't wait for this runtime to be made the standard in all devices.

END NERD RANT.

I threw this guy that I took yesterday into Snapseed. Immensely pleased with the results.

Considering that I spent hours pouring over Nexus 5 camera sample albums before my own device arrived, I figured it was only fair to add my own contributions to the pool.

All of the photos in this album were taken with the Nexus 5, most with HDR+ enabled. Normally, I don't consider a photo ready to be shared without editing, but these are all straight from the camera to showcase its plug-and-play capabilities.

Personally, I'm incredibly pleased with the results, and can't wait to throw 'em into Snapseed. Would definitely love to hear anyone's thoughts!

My super lengthy, in-depth, kind of scathing review of the initial release of #Vine  on #Android , in which I compare it to #FinalCutX

But that's not really fair, I guess. At least people in the video industry don't depend on Vine for their jobs. Yet.
