Psalm 50.16-22, NLT
“But God says to the wicked: ‘Why bother reciting my decrees and pretending to obey my covenant? For you refuse my discipline and treat my words like trash. When you see thieves you approve of them, and you spend your time with adulterers…Repent, all of you who forget me, or I will tear you apart, and no one will help you.’”
The measure we use will be measured to us and we reap what we sow. Those who tear apart the innocent and the defenseless will themselves be torn apart. Indeed you do treat God’s words like trash; with the utmost contempt. I can see it in the things you do. Repent in the age of grace while mercy is still available.
