The chairman of Volkswagen, Ferdinand Piech, has resigned.
The German car maker said Saturday that Piech had resigned because an environment of trust "no longer exists" within the company's board. http://cnnmon.ie/1KgUajv

The first #Apple  Watches are making their way to customers today, and some folks are already tearing them apart, literally. In a blog post and video, the repair gurus at #iFixit  showed how to open up the Apple Watch, pour its guts out and put it back together. Well ... putting it back together might be a stretch. Removing the various components destroyed the #AppleWatch  beyond repair. It tore through a sea of cables when it lifted out the Watch's "S1" processor. http://cnnmon.ie/1EoCthj

Now compare it with a traditional mechanical watch, which is like a piece of art. ;)

#Salesforce  CEO Marc Benioff is promising to review all staff members' salaries to ensure that men and women are paid equally at his company. "My job is to make sure that women are treated 100% equally at Salesforce in pay, opportunity and advancement," he told Huffington Post. He said he's not sure how much of a gap there is in pay right now, and he noted that the review could take several years to complete. But he promised that "when I'm done there will be no gap." #equalpay   http://cnnmon.ie/1EnatL6

Maybe by then all lower paid employees will have left the company, thus ensuring his intended outcome.

Who cares about Windows 10? Microsoft might not even need it.
That's an exaggeration, but Microsoft keeps finding new ways to prove that it is built to survive the "post-PC" world.
Here's what you need to know about their earnings: http://cnnmon.ie/1Jzdx6H
Microsoft sales continue to impress even as Windows slumps.

If it didn't already feel like your cell phone service is a ripoff, #Google  made that abundantly clear this week with Project Fi. Project Fi charges the standard $10 per gigabyte, but Google is offering to repay customers for the #smartphone   #data  they don't use. For example, if you have a 3-GB-a-month plan, and you only use 2.2 GB, Google will provide an $8 credit on your next bill. Republic Wireless announced a similar plan earlier this week. That seems like an obvious way to #bill  customers. We only pay for the exact amount of gas, electricity, heating oil and water we use. We don't pay the supermarket $1,000 a month upfront for groceries and lose out if we only bought $580 worth of food. http://cnnmon.ie/1yTeE0v

#Google  just announced Project Fi, a new cell phone service that will compete with AT&T, #Verizon , T-Mobile and #Sprint . Project Fi is like any other wireless service, except for a few notable differences. You need a #Nexus6 , it operates across multiple networks, and you only pay for what you use.  #ProjectFi   #ATT   #TMobile   http://cnnmon.ie/1Jv17wq

The in-house investigators assigned to look into Brian Williams' past reports have documented at least 10 instances of exaggerations and embellishments by the NBC anchorman. http://cnnmon.ie/1HDAO8w

#Facetune  is exactly what it sounds like -- a mobile photo-editing #ap  that lets you tweak pictures of your face to your heart's content.
It's like #Adobe    #Photoshop  for your phone. For the past two years customers and reviewers have rated Facetune as one of the best photo and video apps available. Part of the reason Facetune has been so successful is that it's a well-made product. It's professional-grade software, but it's simplified for mobile use. The other huge driver is its target market -- people who want to look good in their pictures. That's pretty much everyone. http://cnnmon.ie/1zV9IU4

President #Obama  sat down for an exclusive interview this week, but the guy asking the questions wasn't a reporter or White House correspondent. It was Bill Nye. #Nye  -- known by children of the 1990s as the "Science Guy" -- is the latest non-journalist to win a one-on-one with the president as part of a White House format that showcases Obama away from aggressive questioning from the press corp. "The president had things he wanted to say and he said them," Nye said. "We really had a conversation. We didn't interrupt each other -- talked about this and that, agreed on this, disagreed on certain things," he added. #ScienceGuy  http://cnnmon.ie/1OkbKsT

E.W.E. Hughes Jr....Do you know what I love? What gets my rocks off more than any other experience? It is when I find a religious person that knows less about their religion than I do. Lets see where you try to go with this steaming pile of???? Well shit. "Catholic and I am a Christian".....How? How are you two religions at the same time? That is like saying you are a Muslim/Jew. You can't have two religions. That, by the way is in the Bible. I suggest you read it. Just because your religion spun off of the Christian Faith does not make you both. How do you go to a Christian/Catholic service?.......We don't have our own "country"......Yes you do. It is called the Vatican. Perhaps you have heard of it?.......independent nation state.....Independent nation states are countries........ Washington DC .....Is a district.......... We don't worship the Pope or the Saints....No no not at all, you just flow to him like a river from all over the world. No not worship. Just motivation to travel thousands of miles, or watch on TV and either way you will end up crying and feeling privileged to have seen him..............and our mass isn't that much different than an Episcopal service...........Deer are not that different from Elk, but they are 2 different things..........We even say many of the same prayers as Protestants..........Wow now you are just mixing religions like cocktails. Yes that is true you say the same prayers, because you spun off of the same base..........Have you ever been to a Catholic mass?......Yes, and I have been to a Christian sermon. (if that is the right word). They were not the same.........Please stop spreading misinformation...........I'm sorry, did you just ask me to stop spreading misinformation? Oh wow. This is too good. Ok, you believe in an invisible sky God with a sever anger disorder, while loving all those he condemns to burn in Hell. Sounds a bit Bi-Polar if you ask me. Man this is so much better than when you were just ignorant to your own beliefs. Hey tell me about the misinformation that was not spread by your church when it was discovered that YOUR church had been allowing priests to FUCK little boys for a few decades? Tell me about that. Hey how about all the misinformation that I have spread about birth control? Oops that would be YOUR church. Oh and where in the bible does contraception show up??? NO WHERE. You want me to stop spreading misinformation. Well first I need the man that gives money to a giant group of pedophiles to tell me what misinformation I have been spreading.
A favored question of mine is this. Why is it that when the NCAA found out about a man FUCKING a child the man was immediately disciplined and the school punished, but when the Catholic Church was caught God did NOTHING. In fact the Church hid the problem. No misinformation there. Yeah the all mighty power of your God. He must of been asleep when father flanagin had his fingers knuckle deep in 8 year old butt-hole.

Another ice cream maker pulled all of its products off shelves and halted sales on Thursday because of a potential #listeria  risk. Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams said that it was recalling all of its ice creams, sorbets, and ice cream sandwiches and closing all of its shops for now. One sample randomly collected by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture was found to be contaminated. The company is unaware of any illnesses caused by its products, but issued the recall "out of an abundance of caution," according to a statement from Jeni's. #Jenis   #icecream  http://cnnmon.ie/1I0Diyt

Elon Musk is on the minimum wage. Seriously. The #Tesla  chief executive's total compensation package in 2014 was $35,360, according to a regulatory filing. That's equivalent to the minimum wage in California, where Tesla is based. And it would only get you half way to buying a Tesla #ModelS . The founder of the electric car maker didn't accept even that modest salary, and he didn't receive any cash from stock or bonuses last year. #Musk  has never accepted his Tesla salary, according to the filing. But he's hardly crying poor. http://cnnmon.ie/1ySFp5m

#Google  is sending a batch of invites to people who want to pay websites to see fewer ads. The program, #Contributor  by Google, was first announced in November 2014. In the email invitation, Google says you can pay $2, $5, or $10 per month to see up to 15%, 25%, or 50% fewer Google #AdSense   #ads , respectively. Where an ad would normally appear, visitors will instead see a "thank you" message from the website. http://cnnmon.ie/1JuwFCx
