Unless you encrypt your files, NTFS won't protect your data from access by arbitrary computers either...
 
It never even occurred to me to look for a program to sidestep this issue. I've been using VMware Fusion on my Mac to manage all my files in Windows. This seems much, much easier! Thanks!
 
Pro video editors often cut on Mac machines and place video files for client delivery on a hard drive. It seems that 9 times out of 10 the client's on a PC! Thanks for sharing this tip...makes that process a bit easier.
