Or you could just swap the battery and go on. Seems easier to carry an extra battery than a solar charger.
+Justin Virly Most power outages are due to storms which means cloudy days which means a solar charger probably would not work either. True it's not usually cloudy for 5 days but being without power for 5 days is pretty unusual too.
+Jusitn Virly A second battery will help in an "emergency" a lot more often than a solar charger will. If I had to choose I would go with the second battery.
+Richard Shivell and if running android, the combination of a custom rom that is more efficient on battery would be excellent
