Donald Harding sent this picture of his version of Hack of the Week No.132. He decided that his version would have three peg holes so that he could hang the single digits right in the center of the decoration. We also noticed he used a different material for the number tags... great idea!!!

He used the Plank Sign from Pop's Tool Shop No.2 as the background instead of the planks we used. I guess this is a hack of a hack... ;)

Thanks again Don for the great submission!

Hack of the Week No.129 - Remembrance Day

Tomorrow will be November 11th, or Rembrance Day in many countries. Be sure to take time out to remember we would not have the freedoms we have today if it was not for those that made sacrifices in the past, gave up their lives, missed time with their families or are still defending what we hold so important.

"We Won't Forget Their Sacrifice" Tomorrow will be November 11th or Remembrance Day in many countries. A day where we should all take time to remember thoses that have sacrificed so much to give us the freedoms we have today. We also must not forget to take a moment to thank those that are currently serving and defending the things that we take for granted everyday. Wear your poppy with pride, not because we have too... but be...

Harry and Kendra from Harken Homes have been busy making some pretty impressive holiday decorations using our projects!

In this official Shop Notes post there is lots of information on the stains they use and the projects they have hacked together to make their layouts!

https://designandmake.com/blog/2016/11/18/harry-and-kendra-squier-are-hacking-it-up
The Squier's have caught our attention again with a couple of project images they sent in over the last few months! "The project was carved with radiata pine on our Shapeoko3. We finished it with a variety of Varathane wood stains. The hammered metal area is Rustoleum pewter paint and the whole thing has brown glazing over it to add depth and detail to the colors. Finally a couple of coats of Zinser shellac to seal it." The...
