The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) congratulates its partner Florida International University on its 50th anniversary. On June 22, 1965, a Florida Senate bill was signed into law authorizing a public university in Miami. #FIU today has over 54,000 students and expects that in the next decade 100,000 students will graduate from the institution! #FIU50inDC
