BZ Honey is offering a starter kit for those interested in beekeeping.  The kit includes one assembled and painted deep brood box, bottom board, inner cover, telescoping outer cover, ten frames with foundation, smoker, hive tool, veil, and leather gloves.

The nuc will be a 5 frame, honey bee colony.  Frames will include brood, pollen, and honey.  The hive will contain nurse bees, foragers, and a 2016 mated queen. Pickup planned for April 17th, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., at the Arbor Gate.

You may own some beehives for pollination, honey, or an agricultural exemption. If you don't have the time or desire to manage your hives, let us manage them for you.

Hive management of 1-3 hives (approximately 1 hour), once per week, for 4 weeks. We will manage your bees the same way we manage ours with no chemicals. We'll get in touch to arrange a schedule for inspections for the 4 week period.

NW Houston beekeepers, it's honey harvest time. We have the equipment and experience to extract and bottle your honey for you.

Minimum payment for honey extraction at $3 per pound.  Balance for honey extraction will be collected once the honey is bottled and we know how many pounds are in the harvest.
