Four years shows a lot of ground covered for Boston's terrific bike share program. One thing we love is how it encourages cyclists to wear bike helmets to protect themselves in case of bicycle accidents. As part of membership contracts, members agree to wear bike helmets. If you forget one? The program has made subsidized helmets available at retailers throughout the Boston area and it even has a bike helmet vending machine in Back Bay. http://tinyurl.com/pvljuyt #hubway #Boston  #bikeshare

In 2013, Breakstone, White & Gluck donated bike helmets to youth through the city of Boston's Roll It Forward program. David helped fit the children's helmets and got them excited about wearing them.

Excellent article about students from Franklin, MA learning about the dangers of distracted driving. A good reminder for all of us, every day. http://www.milforddailynews.com/article/20140314/News/140317824

Boston may have a reputation for having the worst drivers, but the city was noticeably missing from GoLocal Worcester's recent list of most dangerous New England intersections. Read our blog to see which roads in Somerville, Chelsea, Lowell and Cambridge were named. http://tinyurl.com/o9ddg2f

I would like to give the highest recommendation for my attorney, David White. I was severely injured while exercising under the supervision of a personal trainer in a local gym. The injury happened when an exercise ball exploded. I fell to the floor, severely injuring my arms and shoulders. David brought claims for negligence and product liability. After hard-fought litigation, we prevailed with an excellent settlement. David always kept me informed about the progress of the case. He was always accessible, and I was never left wondering about even the smallest detail. His preparation of the case for trial, which was just a few weeks away when the case settled, was excellent. He found top experts from around the country who specialized in plastics (for the claims against the ball manufacturer) and in gym management (for the claims against the gym and the personal trainer). I would never hesitate to hire David again if I should need a lawyer. And there is no question about this: If any family member or friend needs a great lawyer, I will refer them to David White.

Thank you Attorney Breakstone. Because of your phenomenal representation with my father’s wrongful death, my mother who was dependent on my father’s loving care received the care she needed. At the start of this journey that began with a car accident that would ultimately claim my father’s life, all I wanted to do was be with my father as he lay in the ICU, connected to more life supporting machines than I ever hope to see again, and to comfort my poor mother who had depended on my father for so long. I didn’t want to do or think about anything else, certainly not to seek legal counsel as visions of opportunistic ambulance chasers and bad TV ads and posters on buses came to mind - it just felt wrong. But I also knew from the core of my being that if my father and mother were to be reasonably compensated for the pain and suffering and ultimately death that were caused by this accident, that we would have to engage an attorney. Finding one who would be dignified, respectful, and competent was the challenge. So I asked a trusted friend, an attorney as well, who referred us to Attorney Breakstone - and I am so grateful. While my father could still talk, I told him we were hiring a lawyer. He smiled and said he’d been thinking about this. This was the last time my father talked to me as he was on a respirator from there on until moments before he died. I like to believe my father died a little more peacefully, knowing that his family was addressing his wrongful death. He was a good dad, devoted to his family. From the start, Attorney Breakstone was understanding and offered us his condolences and his much needed guidance – and I had no idea how much guidance I would need. Even before my father died, there were phone calls from insurance agents – and then after my father died, there were more calls, and bills, some massive, and threats from collection agencies. Attorney Breakstone had us direct most of these calls and inquiries to him for him to address directly. When we did have to handle a matter, he advised us first. What a relief! On another front, we were getting nowhere with our effort to place our mother into a quality assisted living facility. Although my parents had sacrificed and saved for their future, their savings were modest at best and inadequate for the exorbitant cost of many such facilities. My mother deteriorated. Her needs exceeded our capacity to care for her in our homes – even with the assistance of a home health aide. We asked Attorney Breakstone to try to resolve the matter quickly as we were being rejected by assisted living facilities because of our then inadequate financial resources. Not only did Attorney Breakstone settle the claim much more quickly than anticipated, but for an amount that was more than six times as much as my highest hopes at the start of this journey. My mother finally met the financial requirements and, no surprise, was accepted by an excellent assisted living facility. I am happy to say that my mother was able to live for the remaining three years of her life in this facility. So I say again “Thank you, Attorney Breakstone.” Because of you and all your work, my mother received the care that she needed and my father’s wrongful death was justly compensated.

Ron Gluck is an amazingly thoughtful, compassionate, and energetic attorney that I feel very lucky to have had on my side during my personal injury situation. Over 4 years, Ron worked very hard on my behalf to resolve a complicated and difficult premises liability case involving a burn injury. Right from the start, Ron was a professional, kind, sympathetic advocate who listened to every detail of my situation. I was injured on a part of my body that I was extremely sensitive about - and Ron tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I knew that Ron had my best interests at heart, and that I could trust him to help me make the right decision. Ron was always well prepared to discuss my case in detail at any moment. My personal injury case included a lot of unusual twists and turns, and Ron handled them all with grace and ease. Working with Ron was a very rewarding experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Breakstone, White & Gluck to anyone in need of an excellent attorney.

I found Marc Breakstone through the internet to represent my case and I am writing this review because he was the first lawyer I have ever used and I hope this review will be helpful to other people looking for his talented professionalism. I picked Marc from the internet because of the great reviews he received on the internet for his cases and Marc’s work matched my case so I immediately gave Marc a call and he met me right away to discuss my case. Marc and his staff have been incredibly helpful and informative through a very painful and stressful 2.5+ years of recovery since I was doored off of my bicycle. I suffered extensive oral, dental, leg, pelvic and spine injuries due to the accident which required many, many painful and stressful hours at Primary Care, Physical Therapy, Post-Rehab Therapy, Chiropractic, Physiatry, Orthopedic, Orthotic, MRI, Radiology, Cosmetic Dental, Maxillary/Oral Surgery, and Endodontic care services. This was my very first experience in a serious accident and I like to express my sincere gratitude, appreciation, and acknowledgment to Marc and his professional staff who guided me and took care of all of the insurance/medical legalities, legal documents, BILLS, and hospital collection agencies, and finally the personal injury insurance settlement. I highly recommend Marc Breakstone and his staff for legal personal injury representation.

It is has been an absolute pleasure and I am very fortunate to say that I had Ron Gluck as representation in my recent Personal Injury case in a head on collison with a Drunk Driver in Jan 2013. After countless efforts of speaking with alleged Top attorneys in Boston I knew that Ron was by far the best upon speaking with him from my initial phone call. Although it was a scary and confusing process to put your trust in an attorneys hands, Ron took the time to ask and answer all the right questions. He then called me in to his office to meet directly before even consideration of taking the case. Ron never threw the pitch of an estimated settlement figure to lure me in as a client. His empathy for my injuries and sincere honesty were the reasons I hired Ron as the best representation for my case. He took his time and walked me through the entire process step by step explaining what to expect along the way. Upon our initial meeting he already had the information from the police report and insurance company prepared for discussion. Ron took his time to walk me through the paperwork and explain to me what a realistic settlement would look like before proceeding. There were never any surprises and I must say that he went above and beyond to obtain the highest possible settlement beyond our initial meeting and my expectations. I am very grateful that there is an attorney in Boston who looks in the best interest of his clients as opposed to the financial return for his firm. That person is Ron Gluck.

Ron Gluck represented me after I was severely injured when I was hit by a car while I was walking in a crosswalk. Initially I was represented by an attorney who did not specialize in serious injury cases and the case was not going well. I then retained Ron to represent me. As soon as Ron became my lawyer he informed me of what his strategy would be. He began the process of deciding which expert witness would be retained to investigate and prove the severity of the damages I suffered. I felt confident from the start that Ron would go the distance to make sure I was protected financially for the future. When I was hit by the car, I suffered serious injuries including a brain injury, fractures and other orthopedic injuries. These injuries required brain surgery, hospital stays, and ongoing medical treatment for approximately 2 years. Ron was very understanding of my injuries and how much they had impacted my life. He always returned my calls and was very respectful of how I was dealing with the pain, and the difficulties resulting from the accident. He understood the issues involved with a brain injury and the subtle ways they could affect my thinking an emotional well being. He made sure that all aspects of my injuries and losses were evaluated by top medical and vocational experts. The experts were from the large medical centers of Boston and all were on the faculty of the top medical schools in Boston. Approximately one year after Ron became my lawyer, the case went to pre trial medication. After a full day of mediation Ron advised me to reject the “final offer” the insurer made at the end of the first mediation session because he believed the offer would not fairly compensate me for my injuries. He continued to work on the case and several months later the insurer made an offer that Ron and I felt was fair and would protect me financially from the long term challenges I would face from my injuries. His advice to be patient and his determination to see that I receive fair compensation made all the difference in the amount I received. Throughout the process Ron was a strong advocate, professional, calm and reassuring, I highly recommend Ron to anyone who has suffered serious injuries.
