Diesel cars are really smelly, smoky and sluggish? That’s in the past. The 2015 Golf TDI Clean Diesel is, however, a lot of fun. #VDubLove

Tweaks to the 2014 Volkswagen Touareg have been announced at the Auto China show in Beijing, with engines improved to meet new emissions standards and a new lower grille to match its badass hot-hatch sibling the Scirocco.

I worked with Rick Dolliver to get myself into my new Jetta S. Overall great experience and the dealership is beautiful. I loved the waiting area and the friendliness of the employees.

A hybridized Golf GTI could be coming to a showroom near you, provided you're living in Europe near the end of 2015. Using the same powertrain as the Audi A3 e-tron, could the so-called Golf GTE be a fun hybrid?

The Volkswagen Golf R 400, one of the coolest concepts from the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, might actually go into production.

Our highly trained sales staff has earned a credible reputation with their many years of service and commitment. Our goal is to make sure that each of our customers receives the quality service that we have built our name on. We offer a very extensive inventory available at competitive prices. However, our support does not end after the initial sale has taken place. We take pride in keeping your car in the same condition in which it rolled off the showroom floor. You do not have to take our word for it; we let our sales, service, and parts speak for themselves.

I've visited many Volkswagen dealerships in trying to strike the right deal that worked within my budget and needs. I finally found that at Colonial VW of Westborough. I worked with a fine gentleman named Michael Lodowsky, he was down to earth and made me comfortable. He really went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the deal. Overall, my experience was a pleasant one. I'm glad that my mechanic recommended that I go to them. It all worked out at the end. Thank you.

We first started conducting business with Colonial Volkswagen of Westborough, 2 years ago when our 14 year old Passat needed routine service. (Previous dealer relocated). At each service visit, Bill McGrath provided accurate information, precise cost estimates of recommended service, and provided several courteous updates while I planned to wait for the work to be completed. I never had concerns that excessive work was being recommended, and on the contrary, they provided minor - out of the ordinary – “fixes” at a fraction of the expected cost. Because of the professional service that we received in the past, when it was time to purchase a new car last month, naturally we decided to speak to a Colonial sales representative. Our introductory meeting with Mike Lodowsky was very pleasant, and we formulated an immediate impression that he is committed to the product, possesses a wealth of information across the entire product line, but of equal importance, he does not come across as forceful, but instead resourceful. Far above the norm, Mike offered an overnight test drive, which was extremely beneficial to us in terms of assessing the car’s driving characteristics. During this process, we contacted other car manufacturers, as well as other Volkswagen dealers. In the end, we happily purchased a new Passat from Colonial. We credit this decision to Mike for multiple reasons: he is genuine; honest and keeps his word; he effectively kept in touch with us throughout the sales cycle, and most importantly, early on, welcomed us to the Colonial family! Thank you Mike!!!! We look forward to a long lasting relationship with Colonial, and are confident that this dealership will not disappoint. We highly recommend working with Bill and Mike and the entire team!!

I called or visited 6 other dealerships (Fuccillo, Nemer, Father and Son, etc) before talking to Jeff Crown who offered me a deal the other dealerships told me "Run, don't walk and buy that car today if that is the price they are offering you, because we can't even come close". Which is funny because some of the other dealerships advertise "We will match or beat any deal GUARANTEED". Which obviously is not true. So i drove 2 hours to buy this car and was a little skeptical they were going to change the price or add on extras or pressure me into buying extended warranties, etc. Nothing could be furthur from the truth, no pressure, large selection to choose from, great customer service, professional, 0% financing, completely and 100% thrilled with my new car! Tim Barnes could not have been better to work with and i will be back for my next car!

We leased a new 2014 Jetta TDI in May '14, this car had some dash rattle problems (which were fixed), but the base of the back seat belts would always sink into the bench when trying to buckle both my daughters into their car seats. So much so that an adult had to buckle them in while holding the base with one hand, each and every time. After 8 month we had had enough of doing this. I expressed my displeasure with my salesman (Rick Dolliver), and he worked with management to swap us out to a Passat without incurring any extra fees of any kind, and keeping our monthly payment the same. This was our first foray into VW, and we were about to never consider VW every again, yet Rick and Colonial management's work, not only kept us happy, but earned our VW loyalty for years to come. Thank you everyone involved for making this work for us.

Even though we didn't buy a car from Colonial we will shop there in the future when considering a Volkswagon. The staff was professional, showroom classy, and the car selection was great. Most of all, Nick Pezzano was excellent to work with while test driving the Golf TSI SE.

I could not have imagined a better car buying experience, honestly. Jeff Crown, the internet sales coordinator, was very helpful and polite. When I visited for a test drive, Peter Esposito was a pleasure to work with. He did not pressure me at all and provided a thorough introduction to the Tiguan I was interested in. I decided to buy the Tiguan that day and Mr. Plymouthe and I sailed through the paperwork. Since I drove it home two weeks ago, Peter Esposito has been very attentive and quick to check on my satisfaction with my new VW. I strongly recommend that you ask for Peter Esposito at Colonial VW in Westborough.

Called the dealership and spoke to Jeff the internet manager who looked up a car for me and told me it was available and just needed to be cleaned off and if I came at 2pm it'd be ready for me to test drive. Upon arrival someone was already in the process of buying the car and I was told it was my fault I did not put a down payment on the car over the phone despite never being told of that option. Once I settled down and decided to buy a new car because the used car selection was sub par (2 standard cars) the brand new car had already been damaged to a point where the bumper had to be completely replaced. When I brought the car back after a few days of owning it for them to fix the damage to the bumper the service department did and above and beyond job at replacing the bumper and making it look good as new. The issue I had was when I showed up I was told I could speak with a manager about my bad experience and there was no manager there to talk to and the service department women I had spoken to said she was leaving early so I couldn't talk to her either. I also had a rattle in the trunk which they claimed was because of "ice" but after being detailed and freed of all ice on my ride home I still heard the rattle. The other issue to be concerned with is within 100 miles my wiper blade flew off and they claimed it was a defect so just know you may buy a brand new car with damage and very unsafe quality build. I was also told I would get a receipt because I requested it but never got a receipt to show the work they had done.

When I walked inside the store, I was sure of what I wanted. I had done quite some research about the vehicle I wanted. My sales representative was Tim Barnes. He was very polite. I did not feel pressurized to buy the vehicle, but I bought the vehicle. I was taken care really well. I felt really happy when I was waiting to book a cab but Tim offered me a loaner vehicle till I get my own car. I had not expected that. The entire process was smooth without any hassles. I am just waiting to see how the after sales service would be.
