You know how every so often someone comes along…and you just know this person has been put here on earth for a reason? As though they have something special to share that - one way or another - is going to make a significant difference in the world? +Alex Banayan is indeed one of those rare people.

At just 18 years of age, a college freshman, confused and without direction, he suddenly shifted the entire course of his life and went after a dream. A crazy dream, really. He was going to meet and interview the most powerful people in business, sports, entertainment, etc. and discover THE secret to success. Some of these people he simply decided he’d meet were, oh... Steven Spielberg, Sugar Ray Leonard, Pit Bull, Jessica Alba, Steve Wozniak, Quincy Jones. And, just for good measure…Bill Gates!

Is such a goal even possible to attain? Well, in our new episode of The Go-Giver Podcast, titled, “The Third Door" we’ll meet Alex Banayan who - at the “ripe old age” of 25 has accomplished that…and much, much more!

But that’s not even the most important part of Alex’ story. You see, the journey itself - filled with heartbreak, defeat after defeat, depression, cool ups and horrible downs, as well as intense self-discovery - turned Alex from an ambitious, resourceful, and clever young man into a wise, astute, and very successful young adult.

This interview is a bit longer than usual. But, I just couldn’t help myself. Once we began talking, I couldn’t stop listening. :-) From the story of how he hacked his way onto “The Price is Right” (and yes, won the grand prize!) in order to fund his journey, to the insights from the people he met and the lessons he learned, the interview is a thriller.

As good as our discussion is though (and I believe you’re gonna’ LOVE this guy as much as I do!) his book - “The Third Door: The Wild Quest to Uncover How The World’s Most Successful People Launched Their Careers" is even better so be sure and pick up a copy right after the episode ends.
