Notice our #TV #Aerials installations had a mention in "readers homes" magazine. We carried out a television aerial and tv distribution installation at a new build #Hanse   #Haus   nice to know they appreciated our good work: http://www.hanse-haus.de/fileadmin/images_co_uk/news/in_the_press/Hanse_Haus_2014-02_Self-build.pdf

TV #aerial #Installers #reviews .
New review came in for us on Which trusted Traders, good to hear our installers going the extra prickly mile:

"I contacted Bushey Aerials to relocate my Sky satellite dish. The 'trader' i dealt with was Kevin, who was clean and tidy, polite and courteous, knowledgeable and skilled. What impressed me the most was he did not rush the job and undertook the task in the most aesthetically pleasing manner (from my perspective) to keep the cabling out of sight (by locating the cable behind a rather thorny rose and underneath a bay window) rather than taking the easy option. Would recommend without any hesitation."

Saw this chimney mounted Sky dish on our rounds today in Bushey. This must surely be the world's messiest sky tv installation, had a ponder but still can't fathom why the Sky dish is left in such a way.
If you require sky TV repairs please get in touch.

How to hide my Sky dish?
Here is a Sky dish installed to flat roof.
Recent install of a #hidden   #Sky  satellite #dish  away at the ear of a flat roof.
This Sky dish is nicely camouflaged so as not to be seen from the street.
Using a non penetrative roof mount may be you can hide your Sky dish in the same manner?
If this is not suitable we have other methods of Satellite dish installation that may suit your situation better.

TV Aerial Installation for Crystal Palace or Bedmond Transmitter?
This is of importance if you are in the North London area, Pinner, Stanmore, Harrow etc. and are looking for a new TV aerial installation.
With the addition of new HD TV channels there is a difference of transmission from Crystal Palace and its local repeaters. Crystal Palace offers the full extended freeview TV channel line up where as Bedmond does not carry the Com7 Mux.
Meaning if your TV aerial is aligned to Bedmond you will be missing out on: BBC News HD, BBC Four HD and CBeebies HD

See here for more information:  http://www.bbc.co.uk/faqs/freeview_HD_channel_issue

Water coming down you TV aerial cable? its quite common.
If you have water streaming down your TV lead it can be, clearly, very damaging to your television and or freeview equipment. If the TV lead is plugged in most of the time then you may not be aware of the issue, best to unplug and check any old TV cabling, if water is entering your equipment you will notice white corrosion on the TV aerial cable ends.
This needs to be fixed asap.
I have attached photos of TV cables that clearly show the reasons this can happen, UV damaged coaxial cable covers and split and missing TV aerial caps. Old TV coaxial or new cheap cabling tends to have air voids running the entire length leading to very rapid water transit once it enters anywhere in the cable length.
