Our latest student report tool is now live on most instances. It replaces the old Student Reports, Grade Reports, and Grade Analytics tools. All previous functionality is still present in an easier to use interface. Get live previews of the data you filter before exporting to a spreadsheet or document. Next on the to do list is including the option to select a school year or marking period instead of having to know which start and end dates you want.

The project is based on https://github.com/burke-software/django-report-scaffold which will soon get a 1.0 release.

Also, be sure to tell us a bit about yourself, your motivations and why you'd like to be part of our team!

Working on Slide Reports (name might change). It's not currently available as a stand alone django app. The idea is to be a framework for repor making.

Here we have a very small amount of code producing a report where one enters a time frame, then other filters (which respect the above time frame). The idea is that reports can use one line premade filters or customized ones with their own context, filtering, templates etc.

Everything will feed through to a queryset and context which get sent to a export to XLS, preview, and appy templates.

Developers get to write less code. End users get consistent and powerful reports that are easier to make than django-report-builder.

Not ready yet code available at https://github.com/burke-software/django-sis/tree/master/slide_report please don't use it yet.

Django Responsive Dashboard 0.1 is now on pypi and github! It's still not ready for production but is coming along and is minimally usable.

Responsive Dashboard will allow the rapid creation a dashboard with "dashlets" to build interfaces quickly, just like django admin.

I see a few stars in django-sis on github. Is anyone running django-sis at a school for free? I'd love to hear about it and see if we can help in anyway. We are targeting just paid SAAS setups right now but I eventually want to get this project out to the masses.
