I've visited quite a few breweries in my travels and this is, by far, one of the best I have been to. Awesome laid back atmosphere, nice and knowledgeable staff and great beers. If you are in Asheville and love beer, you need to stop by Burial.

This is quite simply the best beer in town, served by the best people in the best environment. Imagine the variety and inventiveness of Wicked Weed but with the quality control of Green Man and a tap room as open and inviting as Twin Leaf. Burial also has the best bartenders in town. One day, they'll start bottling their beer. It's a shame they can't bottle the whole experience.

You can't miss this place. I would describe this place as a house party that kind of grew into a brewery. On your first visit, you may have to resist the urge to knock on the front door before entering. Very good selection, not a lot of seating, cool taps.

Loved the ambiance (especially the poet on demand) and the IPA..one of the best I've ever had in the region. However, I was treated dismissively by a server and left the place wishing I had not given it my business. I asked for recommendations for my partner who doesn't like hoppy beer and got an eye roll and a menu and a stern "just read this". I have never been treated with such hostility in a customer service situation nor seen an employee of a microbrew exemplify such pretentiousness- ever. Very disappointed.

I frequent many breweries here in Asheville and Burial has become my favorite over the past year. They consistently produce extremely high quality and creative beers while also staying true to genuine beer styling. Every week they present new offerings that are able to satisfy very particular tastes and expectations for beer quality. In a town where a microbrew is extremely common, this one stands out. Also, the owners and bartenders create friendly atmosphere and are very approachable about their product. As well as the space is rustically cozy and has a good amount of 90's grunge-indie charm. Be sure to check this place out!

I loved the area and the beer. The bathroom was clean (which is a major thing for me.) I drank The Shroud Belgian Dubbel, The Garden of Earthly Delights, and Reaper. I would go back.

Easily my favorite atmosphere and beer in Asheville. The folks who own and brew here are so nice and welcoming, and the beer menu is always unique and delicious. You can tell that they take a lot of pride in their brewery and I love stopping in to see what's new on tap.

Burial Beer Co. Weekly Releases 3/17-3/22!

Tuesday 3/17: Reaper Tripel

NEW RELEASE! A modern twist on a traditional Belgian style ale. We took this trappist ale, brewed it with honey and aged it on Defiant Whiskey Oak Spirals. A smooth, sweet, slightly fruit forward beer is rounded out by the oak characteristics of the spirals and the bite from the whiskey notes.

ABV: 8.7%        OG: 1.079       IBU:  21        Color: Deep Golden

Friday 3/20: Hatchet Hoppy Pilsner

RELEASED FRIDAY 3/20! Our first lager on the 10barrel system. This beer was made with meticulous precision, paying the utmost attention to the conditioning time and dry hopping schedule. Dry hopped with traditional German hops, Tettanger and Sterling. Welcome the first day of spring with this light, crisp lager!

ABV: 5.7%        OG: 1.055       IBU:  36        Color: Golden

Saturday 3/21: Bananas and Blow Dunkelweizen

Inspired by one of the famous Ween songs, we made a Dunkelweizen using a yeast strain that inherently presents banana -like flavors. Post fermentation we added French Broad Chocolate Cocoa Nibs and Counter Culture Coffee.

ABV: 4.7%        OG: 1.050       IBU:  12        Color: Brown

Also pouring, The Shroud Dubbel, The Rosary Export Stout and Reaper Tripel. All Belgians and all representative of what we love about beer!

Sometimes ingenuity must rein itself in and rely on common sense. With Bonesaw, we pulled from house favorites: Golden Promise, Riverbend Rye & a mild dose of caramalt, while Summit, Chinook & Mosaic hops add that delicious hop flavor & aroma.

Open 4-10PM today with the special release of our Tiller 7 Grain Saison!
Very refreshing and begging for springtime. Slightly dry but full of body. Tart with notes of lemon and a soft malt backbone. This beer was a labor of love with an intense cereal mash that required Tim to apply heat and constantly stir the mash for 45 minutes straight!

Blood, sweat and tears. Its how we do it at Burial!

ABV: 6% OG: 1.056 IBU: 28 Color: Golden
