" A ferocious team in the kitchen" -We like the description!!
Years ago I once again visited one of my favorite cities, the one and only NYC. Famous for its slightly arrogant locals, cabdrivers who drive-the-other-way and vibrant street life. Walking around during the day you meet the entire world in this town also known the melting-pot.

You'd never expect this place to be tucked in the lobby of the swanky Le Parker Meridien. In fact, we walked right past the tiny hallway twice before someone outside pointed out how oblivious we were. What could only be described as a "hole in the wall" has limited seating and a nearly Soup Nazi-style ordering system where time is of the essence. Of course, the line is usually out the door, so you'll have plenty of time to read the menu before reaching the counter. The diner-style burgers were greasy (in a good way) and flavorful, the fries were acceptable but not exceptional, and the pickle was quite tasty.

I order from here occasionally. I've never dined in. Instead I opt for takeout. You can call in your order and don't have to stand on the line, which is usually quite long. The only downside is when they're busy they forget about the phone. I called and was on hold for 20 mins. When I hung up and tried again, there's a busy signal. This has happened twice in the last four times I've tried to order. Burgers are simple and that's why they're great. I recommend ordering a double cheese burger with lettuce tomato onion and ketchup if you're hungry with a fries pairing. They also serve alcohol, but I've never purchased from here.

The hamburger is definitely OK, but it's worth neither the price nor the line. It feels like this place's reputation spiraled up for reasons other than the quality of the food. Go visit if you want to be part of the hype; if you're looking for a good burger, there are nicer, quieter places with shorter lines.

A no frills cash only diner where there is Just as brilliant burgers (better shakes!) and a small yet mighty menu written down on a piece of cardboard. You can also order one humongous pickle to munch on while you wait. YAS

Great burgers, simple but tasty! Great atmosphere, perfect place to grab a quick bit and get away from the busy city. Hidden in the lobby behind the curtains that we walked by 3 times.

Great burgers here cooked to perfection med rare just the way I like it. Staffs are nice and friendly. Prices are decent for this burger spot. Usually there is no wait to be seated to get burgers. Atmosphere was laid back and cozy. Overall good burgers and good vibe.

Definitely not the best burger in town. Burger is mc donalds style, without plates and silverware. Hamburger 9 usd, french fries 4.50 usd, wothout tax. The place is cool, and as the burger: small. Taste is ok.

Great burgers and interesting atmosphere make this place a must visit. Tucked away down a hallway and in a corner, you literally step into a different world from the lobby inside the hotel. We walked by the entrance 3 times trying to find it and finally had to ask for directions. To the right of the lobby desk down the hall, if it feels like your not going the right way, you probably are. Check it out!
