This is an expansion on my previous San Francisco post on HoonArt, this time covering all of the cars I saw on the whole trip.
Recently my wife and I travelled to California for a vacation. On the way from North to South, I captured cars through my lens along the way. Whether they were in traffic, parked on a roof, or in m…

Hasn't happened yet, +Wayne Moyer but I probably don't get as excited about the cars that are between new and old. They'll come back around though given time.

Knowing that we’d be in Southern California, my wife and I recently sought out the rental options on a Miata for a taste of our familiar lightweight roadster to fling around through the canyons. Ho…

That's about right. You'll never get feel like it's ripping but it always has what you need. And the brakes are just like that, you get used to them.

This past week I was invited to attend a Miata meet in Tampa hosted by the Tampa Bay Miatas club. The downtown Tampa skyline would serve as a backdrop.

Oh no, I'm glad you mentioned it. I'd thought that I caught that but apparently I didn't. Lesson learned, GPlus previews are not forgiving. hahaha
I'll have to test out whether it would do that if I hadn't made a post before updating it, or whether once it's published, it's published.

Not exactly the most shocking title ever, but Corvette photos!
Not the most surprising title ever, but it proved fitting on the weekend before last, when I spotted an early C3 Corvette Stingray.

The car I reserved was unavailable. I was given an upgrade from a coupe to a convertible "at no additional cost" and then charged $200 more. The word "hold" was used, making me think I'd get some of that extra cost back. But when I asked about that, the rental agent laughed and said something like "that would be nice." After finding the car in the spot number which I was given by the agent, I drove to the security gate only to be told to turn around and go find another car; this time from a license plate, because they'd given me the wrong spot. So, one star off for overcharging me, one star off for rudely laughing at me and not giving a good explanation, and one star off for giving me the wrong car. The best I can say is that the car was fun.
