Days when you absolutely DO NOT feel like working out are the days that you make the most impact: most calories burned, most weight lost, most muscle built.

That's what I tell myself anyway. Because I do NOT want to be working out right now.

+Will Carr If I am sent to Israel for work in August/September, I'll have the opportunity to switch loyalties/status. What say you? Worth the effort? Or do you equate the airlines loyalty programs?

Anyone else?

Cool! Automatically adds the time from back at home onto my home screen. I knew it did that in G Now, but this is nice...

Yup
Millennials, or those aged between 16 and 35, are earning less than previous generations and are less likely to own a home, according to a new report.

My Facebook post from this week:

For those of you who don't know, I'm often called Captain Diversity & Inclusion at my company. Having come out and then forming the company's first enterprise-wide employee resource group back in 2010 felt great because I saw the importance of bringing your full self to work. As an engineer, I've given numerous presentations on D&I, most pretty unorthodox because I'm not bound by the restrictions of working in HR. I'm able to field most questions without incident and diffuse inappropriate challenges. The presentations in front of some groups is challenging, but this week's was especially so.

Thank you Lisa Elliott and Sunitha Rao for helping prepare me for this week's presentation. It was drafted before the Orlando events, so I added some content on Sunday. I told them I was numb. I was speechless. I was scared, and I was vulnerable. As I spoke about the simple need for awareness and the fact that we had BAE brothers and sisters marching in parades THE SAME DAY as Orlando, you could see people feel it. A few wiped tears from their eyes, and one told a personal story about his daughter being just 1 state away, and how "it could've been her." I explained to the group that "you may not feel directly related to some of these challenges, but I stand before you as your teammate, your colleague, and I'M directly impacted. Therefore, I'm asking that you rally behind me--because this affects me, it should affect you." A group that previously gave me shallow pats on the back in my D&I presentation asked for multiple pride cards and were impressed by my ability to "hold it together."

No one said that speaking up about challenging issues would be easy... Or else they wouldn't be called challenging issues. But that's what we need to make progress in this world. People need to step outside their comfort zone to effect change. Ask questions. Donate blood. Attend a vigil. Just do SOMETHING. Anything.

Everyone keeps telling me that they can see I've lost weight. It's especially noticeable in my face, they say! So basically, I look like this.

Accommodations are adequate. Service is great. Scrambled eggs aren't great but they have MTO eggs too. Gym is well equipped. Haven't been to the bar.

One of the guys who works the bar in the evening and breakfast in the morning is great. Elevator isn't painfully slow like some others. Gym is sufficient. Water at checkin. Close proximity to downtown Blacksburg and Radford Army Ammunition Plant.

Rooms are nice enough. Executive lounge is nice and has long hours. Breakfast in the main room is expensive. Staff was nice. Lobby and pool is pretty. Gym is big but bleak and in the basement so poor reception.

Great food! Conveniently near the airport for the night before departure. Service is good, too. Con: Juicer is used frequently and is extremely loud.

Wow! I'm not a fish guy so I got the pork, but this is a neat concept and very good! Minus 1 star for lack of space.
