Cool stuff, but what's up with the 5 minute count-down? Should be fairly easy to drim that part out with most any video editor.

In my humble opinion, Creative Cloud is Adobe giving a major f-you to the hobbyist or or casual user. I'll be sticking to Corel's Paint Shop Pro X6

+El Erby Hey, that starts to get a little more attractive. Certainly better than +/- $50/month.  Still, I'd much prefer to have a DVD in my hand, or more accurately, a DVD in my firebox and an ISO on my hard drive. :)

It looks great but I'll be damned if that isn't one of the worst sounding vehicles I've ever heard!

Heheh... I've heard old-n-busted pulpwood trucks whose drivers needed ear plugs because the mufflers had rusted off a decade ago roaring through the back roads deep in the pine forests of South Alabama that sounded smooth and soothing by comparison. :)

That's going to be really cool if the electrical properties of the ink are consistent. I noticed the led went dark at the very end of the video. What happened there? Normally you'd use a current limiting resistor on the cathode to prevent led burnout. If the ink has enough resistance, the resistor wouldn't be needed. However, that would severely limit the usefulness of the ink in all but trivial projects.

First let me say that TeamViewer is awesome. It is far superior to LogMeIn Pro, it's closest competition, and gives me access to my home computers even from behind the firewall at my day job. Also, 2-factor authentication is an absolute must-have feature and I am so very glad to see it in TeamViewer.

I do have a question. How does 2FA work with the unattended access? Will the TeamViewer host that runs when the computer starts up need a special password to be entered when you first configure it? If so, where do I go to get it?

Thanks for your time and the awesome product.

+TeamViewer That's what I thought but I just needed confirmation.

Some of the systems that offer 2FA that I've used in the past made use of a special purpose client password. I have a Visual Studio Online account and when you turn on 2FA you create a set of alternate credentials. You supply the user ID but Microsoft provides the random password which you paste into your automated build scripts. Otherwise people would get really tired of having to enter the authentication code every time the CI server tried to kick off a round of testing or had to remote into the build server every night to authenticate for the nightly builds. :)

Introduction
Professional Application & Database Developer and Administrator with more than 15 years experience in application development, maintenance, and support mostly on the Microsoft Windows platform but with a little Oracle and *NIX.

I probably qualify for the title of "High Tech Red-Neck".  I'm an all around computer geek and avid Amateur Radio Operator, although recent life events have interfered in my radio hobby somewhat.  I love trucks, guns, electronics, action and sci-fi movies as well as a very eclectic range of musical styles covering everything from Mozart to Marilyn Manson, Dr. Dre to George Jones, and Enigma to Slayer.  If you put my iPod on shuffle, you're likely to hear Hank Williams Sr. singing, "The Old Rugged Cross" followed by "World Painted Blood" by Slayer.
Bragging rights
As a with the Programmer Analyst for Alabama Department of Mental Health Bureau of Information Technology Services, I was instrumental in bringing the first online system to the State of Alabama Mental Health system that allows mental health providers and client families/care givers to communicate objectively about, and track treatment outcomes. Personally, I attained Amateur Extra ham license while Morse Code was still a requirement, making me a KNOW code ham. Through the grace of God, I beat Stage IV head an neck cancer. I've been off treatment for nearly 5 years and will cross that magical point in December 2014. There is still no evidence of cancer on any of my scans.
Education
  • Escambia County High School
    HS, 1984 - 1988
Standard HS Curricula, Music (played Saxophone in Jazz, Marching, Concert, and Pep bands), AP American History
  • University of West Alabama
    Music, 1989 - 1991
At the time it was called Livingston University. As a music major I participated in the school marching, concert, and jazz bands as well as choir. In addition to mandatory core classes for freshman and sophomore students I took classes in music composition and theory.
  • Auburn University Montgomery
    MIS, 1998
MIS is Management Information Systems. At the time it was the only computer related track available at AUM. It was part of the School of Business and as such there were more business related courses than actual computer courses and the computer courses were more geared toward business type activities. After Intro. to Computers, I took COBOL 1 and COBOL 2. There were business related courses such as Business Law, Accounting 1 and 2, Statistics 1 and 2 in addition to the typical sophomore and junior level core classes.
