Through a combination of Google Assistant, IFTTT, and Automate, I've built flows to open and close my garage (through Alarm.com app) and they work nicely -- but only when my phone's screen is on and unlocked.
My goal was to make it such that I could say to my Google Home device "open the garage" and it would do so. Again, this works if my phone is unlocked and screen is on (due to the Interact actions involved) but not otherwise.
Any ideas how to solve this so that it would either 1) work even if my screen is off, or 2) wake the device and unlock to run the flow, then lock again?
Honestly this is only a minor nuisance -- 9/10 times, I'd be making the requests through my phone from outside the house anyway. I just thought it'd be cool for Google Home to be able to carry out requests too.
