I'll be stoked if this is true. The US Championship has fallen so far down the importance totem pole. Bringing in another title is exciting. Hopefully they alter their booking style with this title.

Apparently, Lana posted this photo on the internet, then removed it. European Championship > US Championship?

Might as well bring back the TV Title. At least that had meaning and was defended weekly or so.

On one hand, it's fantastic that so much content is now available and pretty much dropped in our laps. But, it can be daunting as a wrestling fan to really get into all of it. You've got WWE as the mainstay, but when their programming is bad, I don't know if that helps or hurts the industry as a whole. But if you're tired of what WWE is providing, it seems like a majority of people take a hiatus from wrestling, rather than try an alternative. I think that a good WWE product would get people excited to digest more.

I took Jeff Finley's 30-day "wake up 30-minutes early" challenge. Started it on the 6th. I've skipped most weekends, which may or may not be against the rules of the challenge, but who knows.

Regardless: I'm on day 11. Waking up early for me is 5:15am. Realistically, though, that's about 60-minutes early in most cases. Previously, I set my alarm at 5:45 and then snoozed to 6:15-6:30. That was to get on the road by 7am.

What I've learned so far is that, I actually can be a morning person. Not, a person who enjoys mornings, but a person who can actually do things and be productive in the morning. The routine has changed from day to day, but in most cases, it's allowed me to start the coffee, clear all of my overnight notifications, take care of the dogs, and then do something that I want to do.

On Monday, I got to play a little on the Minecraft server. I also made pancakes, sausage, and eggs.

On Tuesday, it was watching a video from Vintage Beef's Mindcrack series while I uninstalled and re-installed Chrome. I got hit with a link hijacker bug that found it's way on the laptop. For breakfast, I made pancakes, sausage, and eggs again.

On Wednesday, it was moving FTW's podcast feed to Soundcloud, rather than Libsyn, our previous host. I ate a banana.

Today, it was setting up the Google Doc for our shared Minecraft server. And for breakfast, I fried up leftover pot roast with eggs.

It's crazy what can be done with an extra 30 minutes. Sure, I'm not accomplishing all of that in 30 minutes. I'm not hopping in the shower until 6:30, but I now have an extra hour to my morning JUST by waking up 30 minutes earlier.
Waking up early was the most life changing habit I have done. It gave me uninterrupted time and space to do lots of other positive habits. Join me!

So, I'm doing this: http://makermistaker.com/wake-up-early-challenge/

"What would your life be like if you woke up early for a year? Ok that’s quite a reach. What about just 30 days? I think you can do that. If you already wake up early, good for you. Maybe this can inspire your routine a little or maybe you can help others who are in the challenge. - _+Jeff Finley__"_

This morning was the first day. Waking up isn't hard for me. The act of hitting snooze and staying in bed for a bit longer is incredibly easy and attractive, though. But, I think this will be good.

With my extra 30 minutes - which really meant 25 minutes because, who knows what I actually did those first 5 minutes - I did the following:

- caught up with my Facebook notifications and Feedly new stories,
- looked to see if I had any new email, but didn't read any,
- got coffee ready in the french press,
- started making bacon,
- and started writing this same post on Ello.

It's now after the "30-minutes early" period, but I think I'm off to a good start. Finally awake and the bacon smells amazing.

I'm catching up on tv shows I'm behind on. I'd have gotten out the air compressor and be blowing out the sprinklers, but Carrie has the necessary adapter in her purse.

Control Gestures on Touch Devices with jQuery Plugin - Open Source Resources for Web Developers

We chose this company because they were down the street from us instead of going with a chain or a larger group. We had to put down a deposit for the company to even schedule us. Despite their "sometime between 8 and 2" open-ended schedule, they called to reschedule three times because they couldn't meet the times they agreed to. The first was because of car trouble. The other two were time-management related. Which was a bummer because this was over a two day period and I missed two days of work because of it. The worst part of it all was the office called to find out why we cancelled. When I explained, they didn't apologize. Just said "Oh..." and hung up. We ended up calling Sears later that day, who came out at the time they scheduled with us and fixed our problem within 15 minutes.
