Introduction
I was born in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Texas when I was 18.  I met an amazing woman who I married and have three beautiful boys with.  We currently live happily in Cedar Creek, TX.

I have a BBA from Texas A&M University (Class of '01 - Whoop!). I am currently the Director of Technology at KIPP:Austin Public Schools and have worked in educational technology since 2002. I am passionate about building platform agnostic student centered learning environments.  I believe that all means all when it comes to students and that our job is to love and inspire them.  Students should be encouraged to create, and become experts in the world!  It's our job to build the environment that supports that. We need to be willing to use the right tool for the right job, and focus on more them (students) and less us!

I'm also an Apple fanboy (full disclosure), and I love Google Apps for Education
