Tip: Syntax highlighting everywhere

Occasionally, I get questions from people about how I apply such neat syntax highlighting in my emails and my presentation decks.  There are online tools to do this, but frankly, it sounds like work, and I don't want extra work.

My current favorite way is right in Android Studio — the IntelliJ plugin 'Copy' on Steroids.  (Plus, it has an amusing name.)  You can install it by going to Android Studio > Preferences > Plugins > Browse Repositories.  Now, your default Ctrl-C copies RTF text ready to paste into Gmail, Keynote, or whatever you use.  Keep doing what you're doing, just do it with more style!

Please have a look at our macro definition. There is a link in our community description and they can also be found in our rules. Thanks.

I feel a great incoherence in the Force... as though at this very moment thousands of people were panicking about the Heartbleed bug who routinely use their date of birth as their password everywhere.

I think it's more like they just realized they weren't alone as they whispered the secret word to the doorman.

One of my favorite places this side of the Asteroid Belt. Great sandwiches, salads and combination dishes. The daily suggestions are pretty good and you can order that if you're feeling lazy, but if you don't mind making a few decisions, there's lot of flexibility so you can mix and match ingredients and sides.

Great hotel and great location. Right by the Napa River and the restaurants and shops at the historic Napa Mill. The room is very comfortable and it was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel d'Amici is a very small hotel at the center of downtown Calistoga. At first I was surprised that there was no front desk (when you come in, you're supposed to know which one is your room and the door code). The room was ample and comfortable, and the location couldn't be better. Breakfast is included in the price and they deliver it to your room in the morning. Very convenient! Hint: don't book through booking sites, call the hotel directly. They said they are not properly integrated with some booking sites, so it's best to call and make sure they will have a room for you.

Great food and wine! This place has two dining areas: the inside area and the "patio" area. The inside area is ok, but unremarkable (feels like any random restaurant); but the patio is much nicer.

(This review pertains to the restaurant only; I didn't stay at the hotel) Excellent food, very friendly service, and a very cozy environment. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in town.

Great tour and excellent wines. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine making process and the history of the property and the region.
