Well, HP is now promoting a new solution for webinars called HP MyRoom. And even if they provide rpm (nd deb) binaries, these are not working our of the box on my Mageia 64 bits distro, of course. That was already the case with HP Virtaul Room previsouly.…

Since a couple of days, I’ve passed quite some time to deal with the various reports that were made on the mondo mailing list with regards to bugs found by users on version 3.2.0. Of course, as every .0 version, not everything was tested, and the help of…

As asked on our trac instance, new packages have now been build for the latest MondoRescue version 3.2.0 for OpenSUSE 13.2, Fedora 21 and SLES 12 in addition to the 150+ other distros already supported. SLES was as expected the most difficult to deal with…

Introduction
I've has been managing various Unix systems since 1987 and Linux since 1993 (0.99pl14).
I first worked 8 years around Software Engineering and Configuration Management Systems in Unix environments.

Since 1995, I'm Open Source and Linux (OSL) Technology Architect and Evangelist, initially for an HP reseller and now for Hewlett Packard directly in the HP/Intel Solution Center. I'm also HP OSL Profession Lead for EMEA and OSL Advocate.

I'm a contributor in various OSL projects: MondoRescue, Mandriva, LinuxCOE, Tellico, FOSSology, Fedora, rinse, collectl, Pause. I'm also project leader for http://www.mondorescue/org (MondoRescue is a GPL disaster recovery solution), project-builder.org (GPL build service).

As part of his work I have made numerous presentations for Solution Linux in France, Libre Software Meeting, NordU, Linux World UK, Linux Expo Milano, Linux.Conf.au, OSCON, Linux Symposium, Fosdem around various topics (High Availability, Deployment solutions, System management, Disaster Recovery...)

Outside computers, I also like early music, singing and playing the recorder.
