Next Bank announces name change to Next Money,
acquisition of Bank Innovators Council

Announcements reflect its expanded focus across the financial industry globally

SINGAPORE – 19 May, 2016 – Next Bank, the global media and events company that is reinventing finance through design, innovation and entrepreneurship, announced today that it is changing its name to Next Money to better reflect its expanded focus across the entire financial services industry.

“We started Next Bank four years ago because we had attended other banking conferences and thought the conversation wasn’t nearly progressive enough considering the massive changes happening in and around the industry”, said Rob Findlay, Co-Founder and CEO of Next Money. “We wanted to create an inspiring and creative forum to change financial services for the better, and that forum has expanded far beyond just banking. Our community now includes influencers and change makers in insurance, wealth management, venture capital and financial technology, which has been a huge force for change in the past few years. Our new name better reflects the way our community and our events have grown.”

The new name for Next Money also coincides with the launch of 2 conferences in New York on September 7th and London on September 14th in partnership with the BBVA Open Talent competition, the return of the Fintech Finals in Hong Kong in January 2017, and the expansion of local Next Money chapters across the globe. Twenty three local chapters already exist in such cities as Singapore, London, and Sydney, supported by Visa, and the company announced that it will be launching dozens more over the next year, including Florida. New local chapters have recently launched in Bangkok, Silicon Valley and San Francisco, and the Charlotte chapter will be launching on June 1, with an event featuring Techstars and Foundry Group co-founder Brad Feld. Florida.

“We bring together the brightest minds in the business to create a better future for financial services, and that takes a lot more than a day or two at a conference, no matter how amazing it is.” said Next Money Chairman JP Nicols, “Our local chapters allow people to come together regularly in a very powerful way, and we will also be launching new online and virtual tools that will help connect them with other local chapters and with our global community.”

Next Money also announced that as a part of its global expansion plans, it has acquired the Bank Innovators Council, a membership organization that promotes and supports innovation in banking.

The Bank Innovators Council was founded in the U.S. in 2013, and has members today in 65 countries on 6 continents. Now a part of Next Money, it will continue to champion the interests of those innovating inside financial institutions worldwide; and its co-founder JP Nicols will take on the new role of Chairman of Next Money, where he will have new global responsibilities while continuing to focus on growing the Next Money brand in the Americas.

“The mission and culture of the Bank Innovators Council has been highly aligned with ours from day one,” Next Money Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder Anthony Sexton added, “and JP has been an important part of the Next Money community as a speaker and as an organizer of our events in North America. We have been collaborating together for a couple of years now, and we are excited to turn our partnership into a more permanent arrangement.”

Google Plus is now a vast digital wasteland with marketing automation platforms publishing posts that no one reads or interacts with. The lack of !+ on posts is deplorable - is anyone out there?

Google really botched Google Glass and Google Plus. Why can't a leading tech company get it right? What is embedded in Google's culture that doesn't allow it to relate to ordinary human beings?

Is Google too caught up in A type personalities that they can't even relate to a B or C person (aka Normal).

Something is definitely wrong when you base bonuses on being social and employees don't meet the goals and get the bonus!

Google Plus is a complete failure, killed by bad management, just like Google Glass.

? Might be the communities and groups you're engaged with. I interact with large numbers of people through conversations and discussions about RPGs and ARGs-- the Ingress community is huge on G+. The Pathfinder/RPG communities are huge on G+. I'm looking at your feed, man, and it's got no soul. It's all "get followers, make money, tech! WOO!"

There's nothing there that's just you. There's no engagement, nothing that's "this was cool, I love this..." I saw a post in December where you said something similar to this, but otherwise, not much there except maybe that you don't think the Scientology adverts belong in a post office-- although you're probably right in my opinion. You got a hobby? What's some of that artwork you're working on? What are you reading for inspiration? Go join a community on G+ that's not about anything the 29 communities you're in now are about. Try an RPG one or, if you like ARG, try playing Ingress. Hell, I'll send you an invite. But FFS, when your feed otherwise looks like a techsite retransmitter, why would you expect anyone to engage?

http://prepaidpressexpo.com/

The Prepaid Press Expo is a must-attend event for anyone producing or selling prepaid wireless and services.

Are you a prepaid service provider seeking the best B2B event to showcase your solutions and grow your business?

The prepaid services industry is one of the most dynamic of all consumer-driven industries.

Users of prepaid wireless, debit cards and gift cards are no longer part of the niche market they once were.

You, your friends, your family, and your colleagues are all potential – or current - prepaid consumers.

Through June 12th :: Prepaid Press Expo :: Free Exhibit Hall Pass

Or $150 Two Day All Access Pass - Register Today & Save!

Our industry has reached its tipping point, and all lines are blurred – all services are blurred.

Whether visiting their favorite retail store, or using a personal handheld device, a consumer expects convergence.

Integration of top up, long distance, remittance, and payments is no longer viewed as future technology. It is the key to customer retention in the 21st century.

While there are events for each individual sector of prepaid services, there is only one event that gives you access to all levels of the prepaid wireless distribution chain, and all variations of prepaid services.

With two full days of exhibit hall activities, including numerous high impact networking functions to maximize exhibitor and attendee interaction.

The Prepaid Press Expo is only event created specifically for you, and your prepaid business.

The show for prepaid wireless & services. August 9-10, 2016, Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas.

I was headed out for dinner, with full intention of eating at Clear Sky Cafe. The line was long & there was not any room ... Even for just one - I continued down Mandalay Ave & came across Windjammer's I poked my head in to see if there was anything good to eat. The hostess Julie sensed I was interested and asked me if I'd like to see the menu and inquired as to whether I'd like a drink. The people watching from my sidewalk cafe table was great & hostess Julie agreed that my potato crusted grouper was an excellent selection from the menu. Great service, fantastic food an adult atmosphere made Windjammer's an excellent selection. I highly recommend this place & think Julie should be promoted!

I was involved in a rear end collision in August of 2015 ... My car was totaled and so was I ... My back, my neck, my arms, my legs and everything else hurt. I was sitting still brakes applied on Ft Harrison Avenue in downtown Clearwater. I was Northbound between Court and Pierce. I heard the tires screeching and thought it sounded close and then WHAM! A Chevy truck plowed into the back of my car, jamming me forward into the car in front of me. I think I was only out for a couple of seconds - but when I came to my flip flops had been thrown off my feet and my phone that had been on my front passenger seat was now on the floorboards. If I had been in a small metro type car I'm sure I'd be dead. Luckily for me the sedan I was driving provided a large buffer between me and the old sunburned pickup that hit me. I had vertebrae out of alignment, severe muscle and joint pain from the horrible contortion the accident put me through. As the truck bumper hit my car first it was low on the frame of car. This came at a time when I had my head turned - looking at my smartphone which had just whistled to alert me of a text message. The low hit caused my head to snap back against the headrest while my head was turned to the right. Then from the velocity of the vehicle I was thrown forward towards the dashboard and then backwards again due to gravity, cockpit and seat belt design. My greatest pain that resulted from the accident was the very top vertebrae in my neck was kicked to the left and was agitating nerves and muscles that affected my back, arms legs - essentially the whole left side of my body. I was referred to BayWest Chiropractic and Alison Coletti by Dr. Lee Ann Brown, D.O. they worked together to assess and treat my injuries. Through a series of epidural injections and chiropractic adjustments we have been able to get some basic realignment of my spine , hips and other joints that were maligned in the collision. I am by no means returned to normal health and well being - these women don't have magic wands ... They are human just like you and I. But they have managed to get me able to move more freely again. But a lot of it is up to me. I can't expect to lay around writing Google reviews and getting back into shape. But the trainer at Baywest has motivated me and has me working out to get back into shape. I started slow ... Some long walks on the beach, stretches and light exercise ... But now I'm joining a gym and hopefully get things moving fluidly again. I was skeptical of Chiropractic being able to return me to my normal state. But I have come to understand that it's not just adjustments, its diet, exercise, medical science and balance. BayWest has the great hydrotherapy beds, and a friendly pleasant staff who works well together. The office is well maintained and clean. The caring attitude of the office helps the healing process - I've come to feel like I've made some friends as well as finding my health again. Pain is debilitating in many ways, and unfortunately when you remove some larger pains you find others underneath. It's a process to get back to health - but when you start seeing some strides and you begin to feel normal again you realize just how much the pain affected your life and attitude. I highly recommend Alison Coletti of BayWest Chiropractic and Dr. Lee Ann Brown, D.O. of the Spine Clinic. Both working together in their separate disciplines put me back on the road to recovery!

My wife and I have been going here for years now and love Advanced Dental Care! The friendly receptionists, the competent staff and a great billing department provides full services in a professional yet friendly environment. Morgan behind the desk is especially helpful and very efficient. I feel like they care about our business and treat us as friends. I couldn't ask for a better, more convenient dentist office. I used to wait for what seemed like hours in Miami. With Advanced they are ready to take me almost as soon as I walk in! What more can you ask for? Fast, friendly, clean and comfortable - this is a dentist office?

I agree with the other poster. Crude, rude and unacceptable. Like the other poster said crude handwritten signs in dirty elevator and dirty desk with sign in sheet full when I got to desk. I had to write my name over the top of other disclaimer info as there was not one at the desk. Ann at the front desk was so rude and nasty it just did not make sense. They were not busy so its not like she was under any pressure. So I said "you guys are a real bundle of joy around here" to her - he smartass retort was "what do you want me to do cart wheels and sing songs?" I replied with "No be human" - they try and pretend they are better than everyone else or that they are better to work in this place but water finds its own level. This place is dirty, the people are rude and the way things customers are treated is terrible. This Quest Diagnostics is indicative of everything that is wrong with American medical system. I'll go to another location or center before I return to Nurse "Ann" Rachet. What a terrible experience ... glad to know I'm not the only one.
