Trello, if you aren't familiar, is a great productivity tool with multiple uses. We use it at the Chamber to track progress on the logistics associated with some of our events.

This article offers some insights on more advanced use cases that may get your creative juices flowing.
Do you remember your first Trello “aha!” moment? We all have one: that exact moment when a neat Trello trick blows your mind so profoundly, and suddenly you just get it? Anyway, we get it. Which is...

Chamber Board-level member Texas Instruments has a hand in countless interesting tech innovations.  Here's one example that ties well with last week's "Internet of Things" conversation with AT&T M2M Foundry leader Craig Lee.

A select group of Chamber members and guests were privileged to hear from AT&T M2M Foundry director Craig Lee this morning. Today's discussion ranged from failing quickly, to cultural change, to using a high-end 3D printer to build another 3D printer!

Have you ever wondered where your checked bags ended up when they weren't awaiting you at your destination?  Very shortly you'll be able to use technology to know!

Great insights on the innovation, across a wide range of technologies, going on at AT&T!

A bit dated, this article features the keynote speaker from last week's 61st Annual Meeting of the North Dallas Chamber, and helps to offer additional context to some of what Stan generously shared with us. Great read!

The North Dallas Chamber was significantly engaged in the outcome that saw the Wright Compromise come to fruition last fall.  It is exciting to see the growth at Love Field that has resulted.  This Thursday, June 4 you can join us at our Leadership Briefing (Chamber, 10707 Preston, 7:30 a.m., please register online www.ndcc.org) when we will hear from Mark Duebner about the post-Wright Love Field.
If all goes according to the plan that landed at Dallas City Hall Monday afternoon, Dallas Love Field will have a new 5,130-space parking garage by June 2018. And it…

What? Politics stymied an innovative new idea/use of technology that could make the delivery of electricity more reliable and the cost of marginal power increases far less expensive than usual.

Hopefully the 85th Legislature will approach this more pragmatically.

Excited to see that new construction in Dallas Midtown is on the way! Scott Beck of Beck Ventures serves on the Board of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, and I serve on the Board of the 501(c)3 Midtown Park Foundation.
Developer Scott Beck has received approval Thursday from the Dallas City Plan Commission to move forward with his $4 billion catalyst project: Dallas Midtown. The project is expected to go before city council by the end of the summer.

Need non-emergency medical care?  How about using an app on your phone to summon an old fashioned house call? No need to wait in a waiting room with other sick patients, or to grow frustrated by the long wait between patients. Interesting idea that seems to be catching on...

It is fascinating how public policy is made, and the ways it impacts us - in this case the dietary habits of our schoolkids.

It is all about the relationship!
Introduction
North Dallas Chamber of Commerce president & CEO since 2011, 30 years as a commercial banking executive and manager prior to that.  I personally enjoy working with entrepreneurial businesses on matters related to their capital structure, banking relationships, marketing, accountability, corporate culture, and governance, and love the challenges afforded me as a chamber executive in working to leave a legacy of leadership on issues critical to our region's continued success - water, education, transportation all high on that list.

I served as board chair for The Concilio in 2011, and now serve on the board of the Woodrow Wilson High School Community Foundation as well as on the Corporate Friends of the Library committee.

Deanna and I are empty-nesters (not counting our two 75 pound boxers!), and we love to travel to Santa Fe and the Caribbean, and you will often find us riding together on our Co-Motion tandem bicycle at local bike events, and camping in our CampLite travel trailer.

Huge dent on passenger side of Toyota Tundra doublecab after getting too close to the fence. I expected to see most evidence of dent eliminated. Instead - you cannot tell there was ever a dent at all! Some small scratches, yes, but NO DENT! Awesome work by Phil. Thank you so much!

Yum! Yum! Yum! We try to visit Emporium Pies every time we are in Oak Cliff. They make delicious fare! I most recently enjoyed a buttermilk chess pie, while others lavished praise on their pumpkin, chocolate and pecan pie siblings. GO!
