Great counsel on the topic of mentoring by the 2016 Dallas Young Lawyers Mentor of the Year, Tricia DeLeon. Worth your time and application as you mentor others.

I agree wholeheartedly with Representative Villalba and Councilmember McGough. Managed lanes get us increased capacity, significantly improved roadways, and the OPTION to each of us to voluntarily pay a toll when we decide to do so. As an example - I travel LBJ between Belt Line and Preston Road daily, and since LBJ Express opened several months ago I have opted to pay the toll to avoid traffic about five times. I am very grateful to have that OPTION, while having brand-new continuous frontage roads (not true before the reconstruction) and a well-engineered four lane highway for all of the reconstructed portion as my main course of travel.

The North Dallas Chamber has been at the forefront of transportation for 60+ years. This author sees dramatic transformation of mindset and ownership around personal transportation options within the next decade.

Do you agree with his thoughts?

How will your business be impacted as transportation ideas evolve?

Brilliant article on how to connect with anyone. Reminds me of a time when I couldn't get an appointment with a CEO of a Dallas publicly traded company, but I learned where he parked and what time he usually arrived at the office, which led to a joint elevator ride and the appointment!
