Great work! I am quadriplegic and president of Broadened Horizons in USA. I design and manufacture assistive technologies for disabled folks. Greg, thanks for the very detailed review! That is an impressive custom mounting rig you have. You really took our Versatility controller and maximized that "versatility" doing one joystick with your arm the same movement in combination with your mouth, or chin and somewhat switches! A wonderful example of how customizable it is. Sorry to hear the mount did not work as ideally for you as you would like. We also have a new, stronger highly adjustable mount called the Robo Arm Mount www.BroadenedHorizons.com/robo-arm-mount , which may have benefited you. Of course , everything comes with trade-offs, high adjustability in amounts means more points for movement. Completely custom and rigid is great, but then, requires someone who can help you build it! I would like to award you with a $100 gift certificate for posting this great YouTube review of our products! Contact us anytime to use it or with your email addressand I will send you a coupon code! Thank you! Mark, President, Broadened Horizons Inc. C4-C5 Quadriplegic Engineer, Patented Inventor, MBA
I do not like the fact that this video reinforces some sort of stereotype about persons with a disability being suicidal. I do like that it challenges assumptions on physical attraction, assumptions, and the basic human need and desire for touch that is communicated without words, and seems to imply overcoming previous reservations in the final embrace.
