Pretty thought provoking article.

"How many people would you trade for your very best performer? If the number is more than five, you're probably underpaying your best person. And if it's more than ten, you're almost certainly underpaying."

The "big game" is no longer just a game; it is now a month-long series of digital moments, each of which is an opportunity for brands to connect with fans through search, mobile, and video.
In this infographic, we analyze Google and YouTube data from 2014 to see what interests football fans before, during, and after the Super Bowl.

Week 10: Wait...What?

If you're interested in engagement, this is a good read. #socialmediamarketing

Google+ May Drive Fewer Visits, But They're Higher Quality

This report from Shareaholic came out in March (https://blog.shareaholic.com/social-media-traffic-engagement-03-2014/) but it's worth repeating. Here's their findings:

"Although Google+ and LinkedIn drive the fewest social referrals, they bring in some of the best visitors. Google+ users, on average, find themselves spending north of 3 minutes diving into things shared by connections in their circles. They also visit 2.45 pages during each visit, and bounce only 50.63% of the time. LinkedIn users generally spend 2 minutes and 13 seconds on each link they click, viewing 2.23 pages with each visit and bouncing 51.28% of the time. Although many sites see minimal traffic from both Google+ and LinkedIn, now may be the time to invest in building communities within those networks if engagement really matters to your business."

I went to ASU in the 90s and wish this place had been there! Visiting recently I popped in after seeing great reviews. Absolutely deserved. Great wine prices, bruschetta planks are to die for. I'd recommend getting double of the fig/prosciutto. Brussel sprout pizza was great, too. Happy hour prices are fantastic. Run, don't walk. It will be one of my stops every time I visit AZ now.

First time here last night. Really excited to have an oyster bar close to the West Loop. Prices weren't cheap, but food was good. Hubs had the lobster roll - liked it. I thought it was odd that it was warm... I had the Tuna Poke. Tuna could have had a bit more flavor, but the avocado mousse on top made up for it - yum! Served with great taro chips. Oysters were good - had a mix of east & west. $30/doz is more than I like to spend, but apparently on Mondays it's 1/2 price for a doz. Dessert was the real stand out. Both the cheesecake and key lime pie were outstanding. If you love crust on key lime pie, order this! Really yummy. Overall, with a couple martinis and tip, for two of us it was $150. Kinda steep for a casual weekday dinner, but I'll be back. Likely with a client. ;)

Mmmm. Great beer list, great pasties. (Think calzone for the English set.) Can get pretty busy, but really nice outdoor seating, too.

OMG the Pretzel Fondue! Be warned - addictive. The BLT was a little too messy for me, but taste was great. Definitely worth the trip.
