"marketing-schmarketing" - why should you listen to me?
My goal in life is to help you SELL MORE STUFF by making marketing
simple and accessible to anyone who needs it. So here's what you need to
know about me:
I'm a 'kick ass' copywriter - I'm good at making complex things simple.
I'm also the person you come to when you've been up all night sobbing
while staring at a blank screen and listening to the menacing tick-tock
of a clock moving perilously close to your deadline.
I spent donkey's years in corporate spin - hawking stories for IBM, BT,
Hewlett Packard and the like, around national and specialist journalists
(I also had to do my fair share of keeping 'racy' stories out of the
media - but I'm saving that for my memoirs - yes, you know who you
I'm qualified and experienced in the 'all singing, all dancing' high
level strategic marketing stuff (I bet you can't wait to see my Venn
diagrams) - but I prefer to strip things back to the simplest possible
level so it becomes accessible to everyone. This way people will
actually use marketing properly and not see it as a black art!
I'm no spring chicken, BUT I KNOW LOTS OF STUFF (including where the bodies are buried - be afraid, be very afraid).
I love tea and cake - Earl Grey is my brew of preference if you're
