Worst keynote line on the history of Google I/O. Sat down 30 mins into the keynote, its almost completely full and there was a line STILL wrapping around the building. Oh, and I was in line 45 minutes early.

Another video to get pumped for today's #USMNT  game. This one is from four years ago at the last #WorldCup , Landon Donovan's game winner against Algeria. The Rudy soundtrack makes it quite epic.

Ok, I'm officially excited about SparkFun's new (free!) data services for the internet of things. I'm also geeky enough to want to roll my own copy of Phant so I can eventually avoid the 50mb data cap.

Edit: the link wasn't showing up... here it is: https://data.sparkfun.com/
Why are you building this? We want to bring a dose of reality to the Internet of Things hype. data.sparkfun.com is a free, robust service for use with all of your projects. The underlying engine is open source so if you don't want to use our servers you can install phant on the server of your ...

We will miss you Drew Remenda. Watching the #SanJoseSharks  won't be the same next season.
Popular San Jose Sharks broadcaster Drew Remenda will not be back next season.

Yes this is real. If it's on Steam I just might have to pick it up. Hard to say no to a Contra-style side scroller pitting Kim Jong-Un against the evil imperialists.

Not a bad place to play. Fields are in good condition and teams/leagues are fairly well balanced at every skill level. The front office is a bit disorganized but it could be much worse. Prices are a bit high for what you get, but other than silver creek and sports house in Redwood City, they are the only game in town.

Amazing wines and friendly staff. Their Hapa Red and Grenache Blanc are superb!

Nice wine bar with attentive staff. While the selection isn't enormous the wines are tasty and change often. I enjoyed the ambiance of the former Redwood City location a little more, but the current location in downtown Mountain View can't be beat.
