Spontaneous Acts of Generosity
I had an idea this morning after reading +Giselle Minoli's post about Ethan Walmark and the Walk For Autism Speaks. (Which you should all read, btw)

Basically, I thought it would be fun to plus-bomb random individual fund-raisers. For example, a girl who's a friend of the family is doing an ACS "Relay for Life" event at her college this weekend. I love the idea that suddenly a couple of hundred or maybe even a thousand dollars could show up for her account, all from strangers.

I think it would be great for young people -- to show them that there is good in the world, and that sometimes really cool things can just happen. We could call it #FundraisingFriday or something.

So OK, my first candidate isn't exactly random since I know her, but if anyone feels like dropping a few dollars and resharing to test out this idea, here is the link:

Happy Friday!

p.s. FundraisingFriday hashtag is already being used, so I will think of something else for next week... assuming this is a wild success of course :)

The French would say le bombe plus.

I need about 20K more people to make this work. Maybe we can make a website out of it... ?
