It's been a while since I've heard about this endeavor.
This is Google's largest renewable energy investment to date.

The Raspberry Pi Foundation and element14 on Monday announced a brand new version of their extremely popular and very affordable computer. The Raspberry Pi 2 Model B is even more powerful than the previous models, but it’s just as cheap, costing just $35. More interestingly, the Raspberry Pi 2 Model B is fully backward compatible to first-gen Model A and Model B designs, meaning that users can just replace the old versions with the faster compute...

According to a report from Amir Efrati of The Information, Google is planning to launch its own wireless service this year, a service that will use T-Mobile and Sprint networks. The service would be similar to StraightTalk or any other MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) in that Google won't ...

I find macs more standardized than Linux. Makes getting apps and hardware support easier. For a desktop OS I could not imagine myself using an apple product. However their laptop's make me super productive. Although not much more than Linux ☺

Edward Snowden's only regret is very much à propos given Canada's government proposal to grant more power to police and secret services:

I would have come forward sooner. I talked to Daniel Ellsberg about this at length, who has explained why more eloquently than I can.

Had I come forward a little sooner, these programs would have been a little less entrenched, and those abusing them would have felt a little less familiar with and accustomed to the exercise of those powers. Once you grant the government some new power or authority, it becomes exponentially more difficult to roll it back.

Don’t let it happen in your country.
A day after Citizenfour won the Oscar for best documentary feature, its subject, Edward Snowden, appeared on Reddit for an “Ask Me Anything” question-and-answer session. One of the first things users asked the fugitive whistleblower was what he thought of Oscars host Neil Patrick Harris’s pun about him Sunday night....

This is pretty neat. There are tons of modules in this app that let you do things you could previously only do with a custom ROM.

Does anyone know about this? This would be a good thing for people to have in order to get things like security update pushed to them. But like +Thomas Bushnell, BSG says in the article Google is a high profile target, many people would like to hack them, so if everyone knows how their security is working then it's less secure.

Did anyone reading this just get chills?

Just trying to live the dream. I am a pretty laid back person, but I'm the kind of guy to get stuff done.
Introduction
Attending UW-Madison, seeking a degree in Computer Science. I'm a Glass Explorer :-D.

I'm pretty easy going.

I love The Matrix.

Highlights of my recent life:
Lived the Dream for a brief period of time.

I went to the Google IO 2012, I met some very interesting people, learned new things and had a good time doing it.
Bragging rights
I have the strength of 1.0001 men, over time - I will overcome the average man. Yup.

Pawn America stimulated criminal activity the day it opened up. Pawn America has never been fined for receiving stolen property to my knowledge, and I don't know anyone else who knows of that either. Get this business out of town.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and when I went to check out they said I didn't pay for the first day that I was there. They said I had to pay or they would call the police. They asked for a receipt, but I never got a receipt from them the first or second night I stayed.
