Awesome to see mention of #Harrisburg -based +HydroWorx International Inc. in this article on #makerculture by +William Craig on Forbes!
Maker culture, like any social phenomenon, is something not easily defined. While it has all of the qualities of a cultural movement, it means different things to different people, represents different values according to the situation to which they are applied, and can result in vastly different business models, products, [...]

Forget #Personality Tests And Measure What's Really Important (via +William Craig +Forbes)
Let’s cut to the chase, shall we? There are two big reasons why personality tests are probably not the cure-all you've been looking for. The first reason is that employees, understandably, tend to be a little possessive of their personal information. Let’s face it: these tests do constitute at least a measure [...]

Outstanding coffee, awesome shop. Little Amps is absolutely one of my favorite spots in Harrisburg.

My experience with Shipley Energy has always been positive; they offer competitive rates and great service. I especially like how they are a family owned business and actually give back to the local communities where they have a presence. I'm happy to leave a 5 star review for a great local company!

Decent food and monstrous beer selection. This brewpub is non-pretentious and kid friendly. You are guaranteed to find many a brew here that you've never seen (or heard of) before. Definitely a great local addition and I'd recommend it for travelers in the area as a unique spot.

An incredible buffet no matter the meal or time of day! Raspberries is an upscale buffet at the Hilton, you can expect it to be consistently delicious and staffed well. This place is actually quite affordable too which makes it one of my favorite buffet restaurants in the Harrisburg area.

Unique products, friendly staff, and a focus on fair trade makes this a 5 star shop in my opinion! The store is situated just a few minutes from Messiah College in an unassuming location. Inside you'll find a fantastic selection of fair trade home decor, baskets, jewelry, instruments, clothing and more. If you're in search of a fun and meaningful gift idea this is the place!

Outstanding beer selection, and genuine pub atmosphere. Two floors so smokers can do their thing upstairs while non-smokers can dine downstairs. One of my favorite spots in downtown Harrisburg!
