One of these is a companion that will stand by your side through good times and bad. The other is a puppy.

Happy 5th, Chrome!
Thanks to everyone who has supported Chrome over the past 5 years. It's been an A-MAZING ride. We are assembling a 4,000-piece marble maze run here in Mountain View, and our team in Tokyo created a fun birthday edition of the World Wide Maze project so you can enjoy the festivities with us from home, at http://goo.gl/FnOp7

Hard to believe it's been 4 years since Chrome came out.
Four years ago, when the Chrome team launched an initial, beta version of the browser, the web was a very different place. Head over to the Chrome Blog for some reflections on how the web (and how people use it) have evolved since 2008: http://goo.gl/nkj7q.

If you’d like to travel back in time to some cool moments in Chrome’s history, check out out the new Chrome Time Machine below. If you find the hidden clue and type in the secret code, you might be able to secure yourself a special birthday gift from the Chrome team....

Our new indian chef at Google is incredible. His food is some of the best I've ever had and he's got videos for many of the dishes on youtube.

Incredible work from the Chrome security team!
We had the first successful exploit at Pwnium yesterday (https://plus.google.com/u/1/116651741222993143554/posts/5Eq5d9XgFqs) , and today we've already rolling out an update to protect our users. The team took less than 24 hours from initial report to verification to fix development to getting a fix out. we take the security of chrome very seriously for our users!
