I just discovered this show today. Why is it not on Hulu or Netflix, so I can stream a decent-resolution version to my TV?  These tiny, 240p videos are so blurry.

In case anyone reading is in Second Life, Linden Lab hit me with this yesterday. According to the USA Patriot Act, I had to submit photo ID (yet again) or lose all of my sales $ and account access. Consider it a warning to any other Second Life users in the United States, and the population in general.

"Papers!  Vere are yuir papers?"

[NSA] You must identify yourself so that you may be cataloged, logged, and categorized.  It is useless to resist, as only subversives would resist, and they always lose.  Corporations are the only people that can be trusted, without prior verification. [/NSA]

One of my favorite quotes in the series, but is this video backwards, or did BBC screw up? The TARDIS doors at 32 seconds in are backwards.

Slow to cook, but well worth the wait. Use pasta instead of tripe, and you can cut the prep time by a couple of hours.

I just linked this from http://www.engadget.com/2014/02/08/500px-prime/?ncid=rss_truncated  The 500px people (and their users) need a clue.

It's a double standard, just like AirBNB. As a real innkeeper, I pay thousands of dollars for insurance, licenses and commercial utility rates. Meanwhile, some little boy in New York can rent out his apartment with no questions asked.

France has passed a law that will force services like Uber to impose a 15-minute wait on journeys, helping traditional taxi firms.
To the surprise of virtually everyone in France, the government has just passed a law requiring car services like Uber to wait 15 minutes before picking

My first console was the Atari 2600 one Christmas morning. The NES was my first console purchase as an adult. My, how times flies.

I saw this picture and got a flashback from when I was a kid and used to play on my PS one like this, anyone remember the good old time? (now I wished I knew the feeling of playing the NES but it was before my time, PS One was my first console ever and it has given me many good memories)
