Chuck Itte performed a home inspection for us for our most recent home purchase (as well as for a home where our offer was not accepted). Chuck is thorough, professional, and honest with his clients about the quality of the home being purchased -- the positives and the negatives. When he found out it was our first home, throughout the inspection, he mentored us on various preventative maintenance tasks we should do over the years to keep our home in good condition. The day after the inspection, we received a comprehensive digital report. Weeks after the inspection, when we had questions about an item Chuck found, he was more than happy to spend the extra time over the phone helping us talk through our various options. Check has an extensive knowledge of building materials and construction techniques and how they have changed over time. His knowledge is so extensive that he was even able to explain to us, in simple terms, the science behind some of the discoloration of bricks in the basement of one of the houses he inspected for us. If you're looking for a top quality home inspector in the DC area, Chuck Itte is the way to go.

I would never spend money on a United Club membership; visited the lounge on Christmas Day with a one-time pass. United lounges just don't compare to foreign airlines lounges overseas. No showers, no nap/relaxation rooms, no substantive food (only nuts) -- not even access to a $30 inkjet printer to print a document. The Holiday Inn business center has more services than United lounges. With free WiFi in the Denver airport, United lounges offer almost no value added.

Hours posted online and on their voicemail answering system are incorrect. After sending a flu-stricken family member out at 6:30 pm, all he found was a dark building and empty parking lot. I wouldn't want to receive medical care from an organization that can't even accurately publicize its hours. What else might they blunder? A diagnosis? Medicine dosage and contraindications? No thanks. We'll go to a clinic that -- at the very least -- can get the basics right.
