I have this deep fondess for trying interesting looking doors, as sometimes you accidentally get access to the roofs of interesting places when someone forgets to lock them. I need to somehow figure out how to get on top of buildings like this guy. :-)

Digital Identity Product Guy
I grew up in Pennsylvania tinkering with computers and running a BBS with friends.
Then I decided to get a Computer Science degree to prove my tech savvy at Virginia Tech.
I've provided security software development and consulting with many Federal Government agencies in DC for a few years while with Booz Allen Hamilton.
Then I moved out to the midwest to help start a software company, TrustBearer Labs, LLC. I enjoyed my stay in Fort Wayne and returned to DC in 2009 to continue to help grow TrustBearer Labs.
In April 2010 VeriSign, Inc. purchased TrustBearer Labs through an asset acquisition. In August 2010 (the year of acquisitions), Symantec Corp. acquired VeriSign's Identity & Authentication Security Business.
I was responsible for building Symantec's Managed PKI partnerships with other internal Symantec products and external technology vendor products. Some focus markets included Mobile Device Management and Digital Signing.
In August 2011 I joined OneID Inc., a new technology start-up that is attempting to change the way we identify ourselves online.
In February 2012 I moved to Ann Arbor, MI to run Product Marketing at Duo Security, a software security company that runs an outstanding two-factor authentication service.

We're fortunate enough to have several great coffee bars in Ann Arbor, but this one is my favorite. The baristas are some of the most friendly folk I've had the pleasure of being served espresso by. The (Espresso) Bar has a laid back vibe with good music, interesting people, and some of the best coffee drinks around. If you live here or if you're just traveling through make a point to stop in.
