Scratch Kitchen recently replaced the short-lived Middle Eastern kitchen Cleo on Yonge Street north of Lawrence. It's a venture by chef/owner Mike Tucker, whose resume lists O&B, Cowbell, Brockton General and the Leslieville Cheese Market among an impressive list of previous employers. Knowing he wanted to offer a made-from-scratch menu of...

Some great looking spots.
The best steak frites in Toronto is all about simplicity. Meat and potatoes and nothing else, save for the occasional aioli. The bistro staple is done with a variety of steak cuts in Toronto, though flank and flat irons are the most popular. You can blow lots of money...

Make a day of Little Italy 2.0.
Corso Italia is basically Little Italy 2.0 - the next place postwar Italians lived after College Street got crowded and Woodbridge was still farmland. It's retained its Italian character - alongside a Portuguese and more recently arrived Latin American one, and its residential side streets are full of cute little...

Noisy, fun, awesome beer and great Munich style food! What else needs to be said! Just perfect for Las Vegas.

I don't quite get the poor reviews here, especially if you have been here recently. Yes, portions are small related to cost and that's a deal breaker to some, but overall food quality at Origin North is outstanding, set in a restaurant that is just beautiful. Give it another try, and as a tip, sit at the bar, see what they have on special, and order from those choices. They tend to be better priced and usually offer combinations of items. The burger here is fabulous!

Just one of the finest sports venues for hockey and basketball in North America. Bring your wallet though, snacks and beverages can get awfully expensive.

Awesome! A must visit for Neapolitan pizza and other delicious, authentic Italian food. Atmosphere is great, in an attractive restaurant, with very nice service.

As good as it gets in Toronto for Neapolitan pizza. It's just fabulous. For us, we loved the homey feel of the restaurant, it's comfortable in there! And the service last night, even though it was very busy was fine, and super friendly. Recently featured on a Canadian Food Network show, the added publicity has made this a very busy place.

In the battle for supremacy in the Neopolitan Pizza wars in Toronto, Viva Napoli ranks near the very top. Completely authentic, blistered crust and all, this is a must try. A family run place with the chef directly from Naples, service is nice, prices fair and the food overall terrific. 8/10
