Another step in the right direction for Oculus.

This will help with the body / mind disconnect that some people find disorienting..also I wonder if a virtual handshake will be part of esignature software
It happens every time I strap on the Oculus Rift. Whether the amazing head-tracking wonder that is the DK2 unit or even the earlier model, I'm completely sucked into a new virtual world. Then I look down and my hands and...nothing. Oculus VR seems to understand the frustration and is taking steps toward developing hand tracking for the Rift by snatching up motion capture startup Nimble VR.

How to build an inexpensive stir plate
Pitching the right amount of yeast is undoubtably one of the more important aspects of brewing good beer, and the most effective way to make a healthy yeast starter is by using a stir plate. You can easily buy a stir plate, but the cheapest units that I've ...

Whoooo how-to videos! Thanks Jeremy Swanburg for filming and editing this video for me!
I've recorded my first how-to video! Here I demonstrate how to conduct the mash, sparge, and boil for an all-grain brew. The recipe I am brewing in this video is "Yo' Mama's Magic Mild," and you can f...

Thanks to some prodding from my friend Jeremy, I've compiled an extensive list of equipment for the novice brewer.

I've posted my recipe for an English Mild Ale (also known as a "session ale"). This stuff is REALLY inexpensive to brew and delicious to boot! My friend Jeremy Swanburg has produced a how-to video that uses this recipe, which I will be posting later this evening.
I recently realized that I haven't ever posted a recipe for an easy, low-alcohol mild ale. Although it's fun to brew (and drink!) interesting beers, sometimes you just want a working man's...

I love to brew beer and create music, and I try to engage in my passions as often as possible. I have a home brewing blog with recipes, information, and collaborations at http://homebrewbeliever.blogspot.com.

I love to make music and try to do so as much as I can. All of my music is available for free at http://www.soundcloud.com/wooferwolf and my facebook band page is located at http://www.facebook.com/wooferwolf.
My wife and I are totally hooked on camper vans after our experience with Lost Campers! The fact that the van was outfitted with everything we needed, plus there was NO BRANDING on the van made it a fantastic experience. We will definitely rent from Lost Campers again.

This is hands-down my favorite pizza in Portland. Yes, I have had Sizzle Pie, Escape From New York, Pizzicato, Hot Lips, Sparky's, Apizza Scholls, and on and on and on. Rovente is STILL my favorite of all of them. Their selection is wonderful, their dough is to die for, and their ingredients are top-notch. My favorite is the omnivore's delight with the garlic and red sauces mixed. I honestly haven't had a pizza I like better than that yet.

My wife and I went here for the lunch buffet on a Saturday afternoon, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, the naan was soft and moist, and the selection was nice and wide. On top of all of that, it was a great price. We will definitely be going back!

The food here is fantastic. We have eaten at many, many different Chinese restaurants in the Portland area, and this is by far the best. I've sent my friends there, and all of them have loved it too!

My wife and I live down the street from Buffalo Gap, which is both a wonderful and terrible thing... we get to eat it all the time! The have wonderful food and very helpful staff. Their breakfast is awesome as well, so be sure to give it a try! I don't drink there much (we mostly get food to-go), but the few mixed drinks I've had were good.

I'm not quite sure why so many people have negative reviews about this restaurant, but I ate lunch here today and the green curry I had was fantastic! The servers were friendly and accommodating. I look forward to coming back here in the future!

I had an incredible painful and practically debilitating neck injury that no amount of pain killers would resolve. I was sceptical about chiropractors, as I had a couple negative experiences with them, but my wife really encouraged me to go see someone about my neck. After doing looking around for a chiropractor that was relatively near to me and who seemed to take a more holistic approach, I settled on giving Dr. Fletcher a try; I am so immensely glad I did! Wonderfully, Dr. Fletcher was able to see me that same day! Dr. Fletcher actually spent time talking to me about my injury, asked many questions, and was responsive to all of my questions as well. After a bit of massage, some incredibly relieving chiropractic work, and some relaxing acupuncture, Dr. Fletcher took the time to show me how to stand in a way that would help correct my posture over time, which would also dramatically help me with my back pain. I left Dr. Fletcher's office feeling much, much better than when I had entered, and by the next morning I had full range of motion, could stand up straight, and had practically no pain. Honestly, I can't thank her enough and I will recommend her to all my friends and family.
