An interesting idea for a micro PC
The mouse houses a complete PC under the hood, complete with Wi-Fi and HDMI

Another step in the right direction for Oculus.

This will help with the body / mind disconnect that some people find disorienting..also I wonder if a virtual handshake will be part of esignature software
It happens every time I strap on the Oculus Rift. Whether the amazing head-tracking wonder that is the DK2 unit or even the earlier model, I'm completely sucked into a new virtual world. Then I look down and my hands and...nothing. Oculus VR seems to understand the frustration and is taking steps toward developing hand tracking for the Rift by snatching up motion capture startup Nimble VR.

How to build an inexpensive stir plate
Pitching the right amount of yeast is undoubtably one of the more important aspects of brewing good beer, and the most effective way to make a healthy yeast starter is by using a stir plate. You can easily buy a stir plate, but the cheapest units that I've ...

Whoooo how-to videos! Thanks Jeremy Swanburg for filming and editing this video for me!
I've recorded my first how-to video! Here I demonstrate how to conduct the mash, sparge, and boil for an all-grain brew. The recipe I am brewing in this video is "Yo' Mama's Magic Mild," and you can f...

Thanks to some prodding from my friend Jeremy, I've compiled an extensive list of equipment for the novice brewer.

I've posted my recipe for an English Mild Ale (also known as a "session ale"). This stuff is REALLY inexpensive to brew and delicious to boot! My friend Jeremy Swanburg has produced a how-to video that uses this recipe, which I will be posting later this evening.
I recently realized that I haven't ever posted a recipe for an easy, low-alcohol mild ale. Although it's fun to brew (and drink!) interesting beers, sometimes you just want a working man's...

I'm not quite sure why so many people have negative reviews about this restaurant, but I ate lunch here today and the green curry I had was fantastic! The servers were friendly and accommodating. I look forward to coming back here in the future!

The food here is fantastic. We have eaten at many, many different Chinese restaurants in the Portland area, and this is by far the best. I've sent my friends there, and all of them have loved it too!

I am a social worker for a local hospice agency, and one of my patients really wanted some authentic Cuban food before he died. Due to the patient's condition, the food couldn't be spicy or have any gravy, and Emily at El Cubo de Cuba made this happen and did it with a smile. Not only did the employee's seem gracious when I explained who the food was for, but they gave it to me on the house. I brought it to my patient and he gave me an enormous smile and LOVED the food! I was so overwhelmed with the wonderful smells in the restaurant that I had to order myself something too, so I purchased the Cuban sandwich which was INCREDIBLE. If I could, I'd give these guys 10 out of 5 stars because they went way beyond exceptional. I will totally be back and will recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the mood for some delicious food!

THE DINNER AT THEIR NEW RESTAURANT IS AMAZING!!!! My girlfriend and I went to Bob's the other night as we heard that they had reopened their kitchen and are now serving fancy dinners! Oh my, was it fantastic! I had the beef short ribs and she had the shepherd's pie, both of which were downright incredible! We liked it so much that we went back the next night too! The next night we had the meatloaf and the flank steak special and, again, both of them were freakin' awesome. The best part is, the prices are incredibly reasonable! I explore you, go there for dinner and be amazed!

I had an incredible painful and practically debilitating neck injury that no amount of pain killers would resolve. I was sceptical about chiropractors, as I had a couple negative experiences with them, but my wife really encouraged me to go see someone about my neck. After doing looking around for a chiropractor that was relatively near to me and who seemed to take a more holistic approach, I settled on giving Dr. Fletcher a try; I am so immensely glad I did! Wonderfully, Dr. Fletcher was able to see me that same day! Dr. Fletcher actually spent time talking to me about my injury, asked many questions, and was responsive to all of my questions as well. After a bit of massage, some incredibly relieving chiropractic work, and some relaxing acupuncture, Dr. Fletcher took the time to show me how to stand in a way that would help correct my posture over time, which would also dramatically help me with my back pain. I left Dr. Fletcher's office feeling much, much better than when I had entered, and by the next morning I had full range of motion, could stand up straight, and had practically no pain. Honestly, I can't thank her enough and I will recommend her to all my friends and family.

This place has got to have the worst customer service out of any store (not just tobacco shop, but any store in general) that I've ever been to. I've been here about four times, and every time I arrive I get no greeting, no "how can I help you," and not even a notice of which guy sitting in a recliner watching TV is even an employee (there have always been a few just sitting there). Furthermore, they just stare at me when I walk in the store, which is quite disconcerting. Making a customer seem like they are wasting the employee's time browsing the selection of merchandise is not really something to aspire to, but these guys take the gold medal home on that one. Their selection of cigars and pipe tobacco is just okay, and their prices are certainly not the best. I go here in a pinch when I really need something because it is close to my home, but I'd really recommend going somewhere else to buy your tobacco products.
