I've been using streaming servers for over 10 years. I have been using the free version of this app for about a year and a half when I finally bought it. Not only does it stream from your local network to a UPNP device, it can also stream web videos, such as youtube, from the web to your device. I can stream youtube to my Samsung TV without needing the youtube app on the TV. Plus, it will let you transfer device from your server to the phone. Good stuff!
Stream all your music, videos and photos to various devices in your house: ...

I always say, if I'm in a coma or something like that, music will bring me out. This is one of the more incredible videos I've seen. The power of music and it's affect on the brain can not be denied.

A tip for people who are trying to practice meditation, but are having trouble sitting in silence. Set aside a some pseudo quiet time. By this, I mean, having a certain amount of time where noise is at a minimum, but not necessarily complete quiet. If you normally perform an activity/task (baking, cleaning, commuting, exercising, etc.) where you listen to music, talk on the phone, or read try to do it with nothing but your thoughts. If you can, silence your phone/notifications. If you can not, then try to ignore them during this quiet time. Start with a few minutes a day with a goal of getting to 20 minutes. Once you get can be comfortable in that silence, you can incorporate sitting in silence and focusing your thoughts. Sometimes breaking an overwhelming task into small parts makes it easier to manage. Good luck!

Something I will never understand is how some minorities and some women can oppose equality. When I hear about people of color being hateful against gays, it shows me their ignorance of history and how they have forgotten how the world has been for centuries against people who were different. From the Pharaohs, to the Spaniards conquest, to the Burning of "witches," to the enslavement of Africans. Our world history if inequality and ignorance needs to end.

Waking at 5:45 am, I had this realization: In life, it is easy to get distracted by things I desire or need. During these times I lose sight of the person wish to be. I consider myself a caring, compassionate person. I have the ability to see life through the eyes of another with empathy and understanding. But when my focus shifts from who I am to what I want, my positive traits get replaced by fear, anger and resentment which brings about negative actions, behavior and thought. This makes it very hard to feel happiness and joy, which then darkens my world and often the world of those around me. At times like this, I have to remind myself to replace blame with forgiveness. As soon as I make the decision to forgive, I get a wash of emotion that gives me warmth and joy. This is when I know I am back on the right path.
