"Look, I give a lot of interviews. I can't be expected to remember what to say in every one. Sometimes I accidentally end up being honest about my opinions."

The conclusion of Volume 6 may be delayed, but that just gives us more prep time for Volume 7, Atomic Robo and the Flying She-Devils of the Pacific. She-Devils was supposed to be Volume 2. And then 3....

These interviews should be mandatory reading for comics creators. These are the people we have to reach; their concerns are the hurdles we have to overcome.

+Joe Mulvey's latest interview with a non-comics reader is hilarious and confrontational and a bit uncomfortable-making. Check it out and follow +Joe Mulvey today. He's getting comics out to new readers and asking and answering lots of great questions along the way. (And he's really funny.)

They've certainly made progress, but I think that has more to do with geek culture in general becoming more mainstream. Comics in specific are still far less visible than say, Star Wars or anything found in computer gaming culture.

Howdy! Just wanted to share a new project with you folks. Many of you have already seen me yap about it on Twitter or elsewhere, but in the interests of full social media saturation:

I'm releasing free serialized fiction at my new site, http://superexplosive.com

Right now the first full chapter of the first story is online. Check it out when you get a chance. I post new stuff two or three times a week. Chapter 2 starts on Friday!

You make a good point. Oh, and I think Atomi Robo is one of the best comics out there. Just thought you should know . . . in case you weren't aware :)

I think you should be required to provide 23andMe-based proof that you're not a slow caffeine metabolizer before they let you have this stuff. (Slow caffeine metabolism == higher chance of unwelcome effects.)
