On Friday, June 8, 2018, Winnipeg Biz Exchange met on the patio of Stella's to network and connect. The business discussion was great and meeting and connecting with other business leaders was an enjoyable experience for all.

If you are looking for a great place to network with other business people in the Winnipeg area, join us this Friday at Stella's 340 Provencher. You can find us on the patio, if weather permits.

See you there.

On Friday, June 1st Winnipeg Biz Exchange went for a road trip to the private dining room at Perkins, Ness & Madison.

The room was ideal for business networking and there was great discussion around the room. Siddha brought forth a business topic and everyone had an opportunity to add their feedback.

Next week we will be back at our usual location at Stella's, 340 Provencher, but we will continue to be on the lookout for a location that suits our business networking needs. So expect more road trips in the near future.

If you know of a location that you think we should check out, please let us know, through Facebook, by e-mail, or by joining us at Stella's nearly every Friday at 8:30 am.

Keep your eyes open here for notices about more road trips, but in the meantime, join us at Stella's.

Join us this Friday on Stella’s patio. See you there.

Winnipeg Biz Exchange needs your Participation

For the first time since our inception, we are planning to venture out of St. Boniface.

We are looking for a location that is beneficial in maintaining our original mandate as a Business Exchange, and that is to create a place that allows business people to gather and share business plans, strategies and goals. A place that promotes a cross pollination of ideas and groups.

In our original location:
· Siddha would give his two to three minute interruption, providing us with a business insight to promote discussion and give direction to our meeting.
· Group members were invited to get up and talk about events that they were involved in.
· People would circulate around the tables, talking to new members and discussing business with those with whom they had a business connection. Some would even break out to separate tables to do business.
· Everybody was included in some way and people were encouraged to bring associates to
upcoming meetings.

Our current location does not allow for this and we feel that our group is losing its focus.

In order to bring back these old features, we plan to try a test meeting at:
Perkins - Ness & Madison on Friday, June 1st from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.

It has a private room to separate ourselves from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the restaurant and possibly revitalize the energy of our group. The room free of charge, provided the majority of people in attendance bought food. The breakfast special is under $7, including coffee or tea.
It also offers free parking.

This is a one time excursion to see how you, our members, feel about it. For now, we intend to continue having our regular Friday meetings at Stella’s, 340 Provencher.

The decision is yours. Will you join us in our experiment?

We look forward to seeing you there.
