Brian - in regards to your 11 year old designing a no IV POLE process for chemo - i have a patent on a device that is disposable and have been trying to get some attention on it since 2001 ( patent confirmation) its a simple accessory - properly priced for IV compliment and it keeps the IV'S out of harms way. I thought your write up was a perfect fit for what i have been trying for years to get Hospitals to regulate and equate my device into SAFER CARE. And at $ 0.50 per unit with  a profit margin of %1000 how can you go wrong - you could at it as an added accessory to every IV line sold - simple - effective - disposable - i guess the medical field is just slow is all - too busy trying to cure cancer and yet Doctors Still step on IV'S while they are caring for a patient.

The decision has no effect on Edwards' Sapien series of transcatheter heart valves, but scuttles their efforts to keep Medtronic's CoreValve competition out of the market.
