Hooray "The Hole Story" received a starred review on Kirkus! It was a joy to illustrate this long form poem by Greg Williamson.

Hi Susan, thank you for your question. In this instance I am using an Arches watercolor block, hot press. If you're unfamiliar, the watercolor block is a pad of watercolor paper that is glued on all sides. I like to use it because you can go right to painting without having to stretch the paper.

Thank you for your question.

A wonderful experience. I wanted a traditional straight razor shave, which is exactly what I got! I didn't even know that a shave could be this close. In addition I had her trim my hair. Now it feels much healthier. This was totally worth it!
