Amazing! Perfect spot! Mary and Scott are such kind and considerate people & they really are welcoming you into their home. Rooms are clean, comfortable & even have those fancy coffee makers where you put the cartridges in. I was really touched by the messages that prior people wrote in the room's "diary". 5 minutes walk from 24/7 shopping at LL Bean. Best French Bread & the chocolate chip cookies... Lovely place! As other posters have said, if I could give it 10 stars, I would. It's that good! Thank you so much Mary and Scott! -Murray

Great stay. Excellent food, nice, spacious room, very clean, and very down to earth, sociable innkeepers. Certainly the best introduction to a B&B we have ever received. Probably the best B&B in which we have stayed in the last 20 years. Excellent!!!

We rented the entire B and B for our family and friends to stay the weekend of our son's wedding. The innkeepers and owners were so helpful and welcoming our stay was wonderful. We arranged a catered post-rehearsal BBQ that was held on the back lawn for our friends and family (~ 40 people) and the owners were great. We could not have done this without their helpful suggestions and advice. This historic inn is immaculate and the breakfast meals are simply the best. The innkeepers truly care about their guests as if they were family. We look forward to staying here on our return trips to Freeport.

The food was amazing! We stayed here after our wedding and they set up the room with such a warm welcome. The morning breakfast was so great. My wife has a dairy allergy and they were very accommodating to us. The walk to downtown is very short and we will be coming back every year for our anniversary. The inn keepers were so friendly and made us feel like we were at home.

The inn is adorable and meticulously maintained, to start with. Location is PERFECT - just far enough away to be quiet, but a really short and leisurely walk from all the Freeport shopping and fun. We coupled our stay with an LL Bean Outdoor Adventure, and it was the perfect weekend. Kind, gracious hosts and phenomenal breakfast! I have several food restrictions and I ate plenty and deliciously during our stay! HIGHLY recommended, we can't wait to go back.

We stayed one night in the Bass Harbor room and wish we could have stayed longer!! Mary & Scott made us feel so welcomed and pampered as there is great attention to detail and ambiance. Breakfast was delicious! The food was so fresh and presented beautifully. Everything is very clean and comfortable with fine linen on the king bed; plush robes available; coffee and fridge in the room; homemade cookies in the parlor. We highly recommend the Brewster House!

We recently spent a long weekend in Freeport and had the pleasure of staying at Brewster House Bed & Breakfast. It was simply wonderful. Mary & Scott are gracious and friendly hosts who make you feel right at home. The rooms are comfortable and excellent for relaxing after a long day of shopping. Mary's breakfasts are absolutely amazing and delicious. We will definitely be back again!

Thanks so much for your kind words, and please forgive us the time it took to respond. This is a new medium for us to be looking for reviews in. We look forward to your return visit and know that you will enjoy the work that we've done to interior of the inn over the winter.

On May 6, 2013 my wife and I checked into the Brewster House Bed and Breakfast in Freeport, Maine. From the moment we were greeted by Innkeepers Scott and Ruth our every need was taken care of. A brief tour of the Inn and we were taken to our room, just like the picture on the website the room was warm and relaxing. I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease, and when my wife made the reservation she was asked about any food allergies. There were afternnon snacks, Gluten Free, just for me. Every breakfast entree was made Gluten Free, and I enjoyed French Toast for the first time in a long time. Every moment of our stay was enjoyable and we would not hesitate to return. There were great Rocking Chairs on the side porch and we relaxed there every afternoon after a hard day shopping in town. We both enjoy Freeport and the Inn was walking distance to shops and restaurants.
