When struggling to find motivation, I find myself detached from the purpose of my work, not the actual craft or mechanics of producing it. To re-invigorate a drive from that angle, I find it useful to watch things like to remind myself of the positive effects that Internet technology has on real people.
My solution to burn-out is similar: to take a break and go do something that makes me happy. It turns out that this is usually finding an opportunity to teach someone how to do something.
