https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/114073514168507051487 13-year-old Bingzhe from Dongguan, Guangdong Province, has been living and sleeping together with a gigantic python ever since he was a baby.

His father said that the black python has been a family pet for 19 years, Yangcheng Evening News reported. After Bingzhe was born,
the non-venomous constrictor became the boy’s nanny since both of his parents were busy working.Bingzhe was nine months old when the 20kg python started to sleep in the same bed with the boy. The unlikely pair has been best friends ever since.

They play and have fun together. And during hot summer nights the snake’s cold body is a natural air conditioner for the boy who likes to use it as a pillow.

The pet python is currently 4-meters long and weighs nearly 100 kilograms – big enough to swallow an adult human. But according to the boy’s father, the constrictor is very tame and has never hurt anyone.

I ported over to AT&T and just got a sim card with no contract. I typically buy unlocked devices so that I can travel internationally or take them to other providers if I see a better deal.

Google Fiber was brought up recently by the community at the Charlotte City Council meeting.

It would be awesome to bring Fiber to Charlotte. At least just to add competition to the market so that some of the current local providers actually make investments in their infrastructure.

So this is what happens when an ISP actually invests in their infrastructure. I wish the other providers would take a note out of Google's playbook. At some point what you do has to be about more than just lining your pockets.

Not a very good sign when my mobile device connection will be faster than my home internet connection. Is if safe to say that ISPs have been stagnate in upgrading their infrastructure?

Competition is a beautiful thing!

"One area provider plans to beat Google out the starting gate. Earlier this month, cable firm Comporium announced that it was designing Zipstream, the Charlotte region’s first gigabit broadband network, in downtown Rock Hill.

AT&T officials in Charlotte said they are also considering rolling out fiber-optic service through their U-Verse network in areas where there is high demand."
